Wen Chou is a minor antagonist in the 14th-century Chinese classic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms by the late Luo Guanzhong, and its multiple adaptations. He is one of the generals of Yuan Shao.

Biography[]

Wen Chou and Yan Liang are served the warlord, Yuan Shao, as they lived in Han Dynasty, which Sun Jian, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Gongsun Zan joined an alliance with them to confronted the tyrannous governor, Dong Zhuo. Upon make for the result, Wen Chou is a warrior who wants to be feral like his partner. He is a 6 feet tall large man, seem that is a lot like of unicorn. When Guan Yu, one of Liu Bei's oath brothers, who managing to slaying Dong Zhuo's minion, Hua Xiong from the Sishui Pass. On this way, Cao Cao surrounded Dong Zhuo's forces with the help of his cousins, Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan.

Dong Zhuo then withdraw his forces from Sishui Pass, which his adopted son, Lu Bu, who also arrived in Hulao Gate, deals with Liu Bei and his brothers. Upon Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Liu Bei worked against Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo gives up the captial but that set the fire on the ground. Before Wen Chou and Yan Liang waiting to be reached it, Yuan Shao and his armies time goes forward it entered Luoyang, and preparing to facing Dong Zhuo, with renewal can free. After Dong Zhuo's defeat, Sun Jian later discovered the imperial seal, which he was confronting by Yuan Shao on thinking about this for yet negative.

Sun Jian and his forces must puts out for their weapons, mass to remonstrance, Wen Chou and Yan Liang appearing to defending their lord. But which, the alliance under of Yuan Shao will dismissed. However, Yuan Shao then make his plans to taking Ji Province from Han Fu, a writing the letter to Gongsun Zan. Forming with Gongsun Zan's forces to attacked territory, Yuan Shao also writes a letter to Han Fu, making him surrending the country to him. As Wen Chou and Yan Liang keeps followed their lord, protecting him from being killed by Han Fu and his generals.

He comes to deals with Gongsun Zan by the way, which also fast up to repelling all of his generals. At last, Wen Chou is gets blocked by Zhao Yun, one of Liu Bei's commanders who originally to served Gongsun Zan. Upon his loss to this match, Wen Chou could bearing as he hurry to escaped. Its soon, the battle had been win. Yuan Shao was originally clam to victory, he able to retreated upon helps arriving for Gongsun Zan from Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. Later on, Yuan Shao decided to against Gongsun Zan, gets rid of him, such by with controlling the most territories.

When Gongsun Zan died, Zhao Yun later serving Yuan Shao which he stayed in Ye with Liu Bei. During the battle of Guandu, Yuan Shao started be launch an offensive with his forces, and turning against his former friend, Cao Cao. Fact by accident, Yan Liang was location in Baima Fort which he was murdered by Guan Yu, who leaving from his brother as that joined to Cao Cao's side with the struggle. To avenge his partner, Wen Chou don't forgives Guan Yu and Cao Cao, which Yuan Shao trying to convinced him until the demands.

Liu Bei following Wen Chou and Yuan Shao, so he would find Guan Yu and reunited with him. Upon his located on Yanjin Fort, Wen Chou preparing to attacked Cao Cao's forces with his armies. He fights Cao Cao's generals, Zhang Liao and Xu Huang before running away, Guan Yu leads a dozen warriors to attacked, and cut off Wen Chou's escaping route. Upon their clash, Wen Chou and Guan Yu striking all of that time. By the time, Yuan Shao's forces are defeated, Wen Chou is executing by Guan Yu.
