Overview[]
The Wendigo is a demon spirit, originating from Native American folk lore, that roams the isle of Ellesmere. The Wendigo is one of the strongest bosses in the game, one of the only bosses in the game, and takes roughly around 1000 shots from a standard rifle to kill. Upon its death, the Wendigo has the chance to drop its claws, pelt or antlers in which they can be used to craft weapons and accessories.
The Wendigo is also part of the The Hollow Hunger quest, which upon killing it after accepting the quest, it will now give you the ability to craft a limited addition axe known as the Hunters Halberd.
Origin[]
Little is known about the origin of the Wendigo, however it has many arrows piercing its flesh, meaning it has been around before the arrival of the colonists and in extension, SLC.
Apperance[]
The Wendigo appears as a roughly 6'0ft tall white creature with wooden arrows digging into its hide and extension flesh, as well as having incredibly sharp, yellow teeth with thick, dark blood stains covering it all over. It has dark brown antlers dawned on its head, with razor sharp silver claws covered in blood.

The Wendigo can spawn at both times of the day: Nighttime and daytime, as well as many locations across Ellesmere. These include...

The Wendigo, in extension, can also wonder around from these areas, meaning it can travel much further distances and sometimes appear in other locations.
Defeat[]
Upon the killing of the Wendigo, it has a chance to drop his claws, an item that can be later crafted into a mele weapon, his pelt, an item that can later be crafted into an accessory, and his horns, an item that can later be crafted into an accessory. The Wendigo also contributes to the The Hollow Hunger quest, meaning it in extension also drops the Hunters Halberd, a large axe.
