Weneg (in Japanese: ウェネグ, U~enegu), is a major antagonist in the manga series Akame ga Kill! Zero. He is the leader of the Gravekeepers and is secretly an sex offender that kidnaps young girls in order to use them as sex slaves.
Biography[]
Weneg came to inspect the female captives when Kurome, Natala, Gin and Tsukushi were taken away by the other Gravekeepers, as he considered Kurome to be the strongest prisoner, and wanted her to be his wife to, he then introduced himself to her while declaring his subordinates could have the other prisoners.
He noticed Guy's presence beneath the floor and they began to fight. He was overwhelmed by Guy during their fight, but managed to kill hem by using his curse to inflict a serious head injury. Guy managed to create a stone wall to temporary keep him contained and give the prisoners a chance to escape. Weneg broke through the wall and kills Guy by ripping his heart, He then chased after the captives and was confronted by Akame and Green.
He and Jamo than faced their opponents. Jamo soon ran away and let him deal with both opponents. Green defended Akame who looked for a opening but instinctively protected Green, which caused Weneg to criticize her as he gets transformed intro his true form (which is an Anubis-like creature called Nubis) However, the escaped prisoners arrived just in time and Tsukushi told Akame about Weneg's curse. With Akame's fighting spirit renewed after seeing her sister, as she slashes him in the nape using Kiriichimonji in which created numerous injuries over his body that can't heal or close.
Before dying, Weneg praised Akame's swordmanship skills saying that she took much out of her and halfway through the fight. After the first emperor's tomb was destroyed by an unnamed Crab-like gravekeeper, his body was crushed by the wreckage.
Personality[]
Weneg is a traditionalist who lives by the rules of the Tomb Guardians. He is attentive to his health so that he can be a guardian for as long as he can, but he only cares in having "strong children".

Weneg appears to be a elderly man with long black hair and horn-like bangs over the top of her head, blue eyes and three earrings in the ear, he wears an pharaoh-like clothing and have the Gravekeepers' secret arts tattoos over her body that allows him to gets transformed intro an Danger Beast called Nubis, which that could be a reference for or the Egyptian god Anubis.
Powers and Abilities[]

- Secret Art : It is an exclusive ability of the guardians of tombs, which consists of giving the warrior the ability to transform parts of his body to obtain animalistic-like skills of special-class Danger Beasts. This works when an staff is activated.

- Breathing fire out of mouth, this happens when he drinks rattlesnake liquor.
- Surviving any damage caused by decapitation or things that can cause pain.
