Weremacht is is one of four Nazi puppets created by Dr. Freuhoffer to assist the Nazis in killing General Porter and the others.
Appearance
Weremacht looks like a Nazi soldier in gray uniform with a red Swastika armband on his left arm. His skin is covered in thick grayish brown fur and he has long sharp claws on the end of each finger and toe. He has a brown wolf–like face with a mouth full of sharp canine teeth, a black nose and green eyes.
History
Weremacht was seen when Bombshell returns to the lab and Freuhoffer presents him with two other puppets he made, named Blitzkrieg, a Panzer tank, and Kamikaze, a walking Japanese bomb. During the U.S. Awards Ceremony Weremacht and the others attack and kill Major Collins. Blade takes on Weremacht, but gets beaten back. Sometime later, Danny and the others locate and recover Tunneler, but are stopped by Moebius and Freuhoffer’s puppets. Blade fight him and this time, Weremacht gets beaten.
In 1942, Doktor Gerde Ernst used her thoughts to speak Weremacht and the other puppets and sent them on a mission to bomb a power station. Weremacht killed one of the employees and left. When Antoinette Longpre speaks with Doktor Gerde Ernst, Weremacht appeared out of nowhere and killed Antoinette Longpre. After Doktor Gerde Ernst double-crossed the Nazi Puppets, Dr. Ivanov controlled them to kill her and he used his powers to destroyed her soul. It's unknown what happened to Weremacht and the others after the battle. But, they were never seen or heard from again.
Trivia
- The classic Universal horror movie ‘The Wolf Man’ came out in 1941 the same year this movie is set in so it's possible that Dr. Freuhoffer based the design on this movie.
- His name is a contraction of the words, Wehrmacht (Nazi Germany's unified armed forces) and Werewolf.
