Wes Weasley is a major antagonist in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an anthropomorphic weasel and the salesman of Handy Dandy Super Villain Appliance Distributors Limited Company. He sells various weaponry and traps to Robotnik and Coconuts without any care about their plans to use them as long as money is on the line. He often switches sides a lot, as sometimes he's either on Robotnik's or Sonic's side.
He is a very popular character for his charismatic "Snake Oil Salesman" antics that usually turn out well for him, to the point where many fans like to reimagine him in the games' art style.
He is voiced by Michael Donovan.
Personality[]
Wes Weasley is a sleazy, fast-talking, quick-thinking, intrusive and conniving weasel salesman who inconveniences friend and foe alike, as he does not really care who he sells to, as long as he makes money. He is more than willing to lie to, cheat and swindle his customers in pursuit of their money. He's also willing to aid in villainous causes if he gets paid enough.
He also happens to be energetic and charming, but also an unscrupulous salesman. Even though he claims to stand by his products, he is quick to leave if things backfire. His true loyalties are with whoever pays him the most and gives him the least danger.
Everyone tends to be called "Pal-sie" in conversations to make himself seem friendly and affable towards anyone. Since he is very talkative and charismatic, he is hasty to convince potential customers and tries to make them hasty as well while making them not overthink their purchase. Which he does often by speaking in double-talk and constantly over-selling his products, some of which work, others of which do not.
He is also entirely devoted to the payloads and money he gets for any aid he does, he wouldn't vote for a tyrant like Dr. Robotnik when he runs for office before Robotnik and his mother force him into it and is revealed how much money he'll get for helping him.
Appearance[]
Wes is a balding, broad-shouldered and flamboyant weasel who wears a plaid brown and tan coat, a white undershirt, black and large glasses, a red bow tie, and light green striped boxers. He also wears a small hat, which is floating on his head. Sometimes, he is also seen smoking a cigar.
History[]
Ever since the episode "Birth of a Salesman", Wes Weasley is a recurring door-to-door sales representative who occasionally tries to help Dr. Ivo Robotnik catch Sonic by selling him faulty appliances. In one episode, he sells Coconuts sorcery equipment so that he can capture Sonic with magic equipment.
