Biography[]
A small town has a notorious ghost town as a major attraction, but it's shaken when people turn up murdered, their deaths connected to the haunted house. A man named Joey is scarred by his own experience with the killer, making it personal for a local waitress named Marge, who goes into the ghost town with Ken and David, two students and her college and her close friends. The caretaker of the ghost town, Crazy Bill, is impaled to death in the town's cemetery. As a result, Marge and David go to note the sheriff, while Ken stays behind in wait in hopes of finding and catching the killer in the act. The killer, in his signature mask and suit, abducts Ken, throws him into a grave, and buries him alive. David and Marge return to find he died from fatal shock, scared to death from the brutal assault. The killer comes and knocks out David, dragging Marge into an abandoned mine. Joey and the sheriff arrive just in time, and when the killer's holding Marge hostage and about to murder David, the sheriff shoots him dead. Removing his mask, Joey reveals he's Wesley Blake, the owner of the diner and Marge's boss, and a former vaudeville performer. His motive is his nervous, obsessive breakdown, after seeing Marge as a daughter to him, but horrified she grew to be too mature for his own comfort, never liking the boyfriends she went through and losing her virginity to several of them. He snapped and evoked the lore of the ghost town to kill them as a way of avenging her, but it only left her and the people she loves scarred from the ordeal.
