The Western Youkai Army Corps are the main antagonists of the second half of Henshin Ninja Arashi. They are a cabal of youkai from the western world who form an alliance with the Blood Wheel Clan to conquer Japan and split it 50/50. Most of their members are themed after western monsters, mythological creatures and urban legends. Their base is a stone fortress that resembles the Egyptian Sphinx statue.
History[]
After the Blood Wheel Clan's resources were depleted by the continued defeats of their Incarnation Ninjas against Henshin Ninja Arashi and the Iga Ninja Clan, Devil Sai entered into an alliance with Akuma Doujin of the Western Youkai Corps to revitalize the Blood Wheel Clan's forces. In exchange for the Western Youkai Corps' assistance in defeating Arashi and conquering Japan, Devil Sai promised to turn half the country's territory over to them.
While Devil Sai departed for the time being, the Western Youkai Army took the Blood Wheel Clan's place in terrorizing Japan. They sent their Western Youkai to attack villages and terrorize the population into submission, but were resisted by Arashi and his Iga Ninja allies. Eventually, they too began suffering defeats against Arashi. The Western Youkai Army came to an end when their leader Akuma Doujin was killed by Arashi with the combined power of Tsukinowa.
