Whip Woman, is a supporting antagonist in the Chainsaw Man franchise. She is a Weapon Devil Hybrid who was formerly under the control of Makima. After being freed she became a member of the Chainsaw Man Church under fellow Hybrid Barem Bridge, working to bring about mass slaughters to turn Denji back into Chainsaw Man.
Appearance[]
In her human form, Whip Woman is short with medium brown hair and a youthful appearance, wearing a standard public safety suit and tie
In her Hybrid form, she becomes a humanoid demon her head has an elongated chin and sharp, exposed teeth like Chainsaw Man's. The Whip Hybrid has whips on her nape that simulate hair, and two long, whip-like appendages in place of her hands.

When Whip Woman was under the control of Makima she recognized her controlling and destructive nature but was loyal enough to follow her orders to fight Chainsaw Man. After she and the other Weapon Hybrids were freed from Makima's control, she is revealed to be a relaxed yet dimwitted figure as she could not come up with an connection between "humans", "weapons", and "devils" other than claiming they were hard to spell. She has great pride in her status as a Weapon Devil and its anti aging qualities describing herself as a "superior human specimen chosen by God".
Despite the Whip Woman having the shared goal of killing people to awaken Chainsaw Man and stop the oncoming apocalypse foretold by Nostradamus, Whip Woman in truth does not believe it nor does she care for human life as she laughed off Miri for earnestly believing the prophecy. Rather she appears to enjoy the opportunity to kill and did not hesitate to attempt a mass murder before being cut down by Quanxi. However, Whip Woman appears to care about her fellow Hybrids to an extent as she was horrified seeing Denji cut apart and eat Spear Man and attempted to rescue him, later pleading with Miri to help save her.

Background[]
Little is known about the Whip Woman or her real name, other than she was born around 1917 and had at some point, became contracted with the Whip Devil becoming a hybrid in the process.
Control Devil Arc[]

80 years later in 1997, Whip Woman and the other Weapon Devil Hybrids are brainwashed by Makima in order to defeat Chainsaw Man and manipulated into believing they have a chance of dating her if they win.
In Hybrid form she fought Chainsaw Man alongside Makima's other brainwashed pawns, but was cut apart along with the others. After Denji kills Makima Whip Woman regains free will.
Chainsaw Man Church Arc[]
In 1999, now a member of the Chainsaw Man Church under Barem Bridge, she, Miri Sugo, and Spear Man meet for lunch at a restaurant. Barem describes his plan to commit mass murders in the streets to force Denji to become Chainsaw Man again. Miri initially argues agaisnt this idea but Whip Woman tells him to discard thoughts of hesitation and think like a weapon, when by Barem what humans, devils, and weapons have in common she answered they all sounded hard to spell.
On the day of their planned massacre, Whip Woman and her comrades arrive at a local food court. While making small talk she reveals that she will be turning 82 this year and that she beliebes herself to a superior human chosen by God. As the three prepare to transform. Quanxi appears and cuts all three of them down into pieces as they are captured by Public Safety.
Eventually she and the other Hybrids escape capture and burn down Denji's apartment, Whip Woman then transforms and attacks the remaining Public Safety members stationed as the others take Fumiko Mifune hostage.
While Miri attempts to justify this arson as a way to prevent prevent Nostradamus's Prophecy, Whip Woman laughs him off believing it to be a farce. Furious at the Hybrids, Denji transforms into Chainsaw Man as Whip Woman and her comrades attempt to subdue him, however the three are overwhelmed by his relentless attacks and subsequently cut into pieces.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Hybrid Transformation: As the Whip Hybrid, Whip Woman is able to partially transform into the Whip Devil and use their demonic abilities. She can trigger this transformation by snapping her fingers turning her hands into whips.
- Regeneration: Whip Woman is able to regenerate or heal herself by drinking blood and, because this, can sustain all kinds of lethal injuries, such as being beheaded and bisected.
- Immortality: As a hybrid, Whip Woman is immortal and has lived and attained a youthful appearance for over 80 years. As such she is nearly unkillable as she's able to recover from the most fatal wounds. The only possible way to kill her is to completely destroy her Devil heart.
