White-Mask Varré is an NPC character in the 2022 Dark Fantasy RPG video game Elden Ring. A person full of enigma, he is a loyal disciple of Mohg, Lord of Blood and his dynasty.
Varré is voiced by Pip Torrens, who also provided the vocal effects of Starscourge Radahn in the same game.

He is dressed in the garb of a war surgeon.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
White-Mask Varré is a war surgeon who was abducted by Mohg alongside other surgeons. The former is the only one out of all of them to be able to successfully tame Mohg's accursed blood, though he was considered an exception.
First Encounter[]
Varré is first encountered at Limgrave, right after the Tarnished exited the Stranded Graveyard. Noticing that they are not supported by a Finger Maiden, he would offer them guidance and he advised that they go to Stormveil Castle, defeat Godrick the Grafted and claim his great rune before recommending that they visit Roundtable Hold, the gathering place of the Tarnished, which is located outside the Lands Between.
2nd Encounter[]
White-Mask Varré can be encountered a second time in Liurnia of the Lakes just outside the Rose Church. Doubtful of the veracity on their words, he decided to test the Tarnished. However, if they shared the same concerns, Varré will reveal himself as a disciple to Mohg and offers them the opportunity to join the Mohgwyn Dynasty. After the Tarnished completes an initiation, where they soaked a cloth in the blood of a maiden, Varré will award them with a medal that will allow them an audience with Mohg when the right time comes. He will also inject noble blood into the Tarnished's finger, which allows them to invade other worlds.
Final Encounter[]
Varré can be found for a final time much later when the Tarnished journeys to Mohgwyn Palace, the lair of Mohg, and enters his world, but this is optional. If the Tarnished invades Varré's world, the latter will now act hostile and becomes a mini-boss. During this time, he will reprimand them for seeking violence. Varré will then ensure that the Tarnished will regret their actions before bidding them a miserable death. After being defeated, he will question himself on why he had to be disgraced by "this lowborn".
Death[]
After the Tarnished returns their world, they can now find Varré on the floor of the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum, dying from his wounds. He will beg Mohg to grant him strength that he promised as he had given everything. In his last words, after begging for Mohg to hear his pleas, Varré blesses the Mohgwyn Dynasty with love before letting out his last breath. When the Tarnished loots his body, they will obtain Varré's weapon as well as the Festering Bloody Finger tool.
