White Bone Flying Squirrel is a flying squirrel-themed robot that is the strongest of the DARK Destructoids and a major antagonist in the 1972 tokusatsu series Android Kikaider.
It was voiced by Setsuo Wakui, who would later voice Blue Hakaider in Kikaider 01 as well as Ribcage Mask in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger.
Biography[]
After Hakaider went rogue and assaulted Professor Gill before heading to destroy Dr. Komyoji, Gill called upon his trump card - White Bone Flying Squirrel - to destroy both Hakaider and Kikaider. White Bone Flying Squirrel went after Hakaider first, attacking him while he was still in DARK's base and fatally wounding him, denying him the chance to face off against his arch-rival Kikaider in a final battle. Before he passed, Hakaider asked Kikaider to destroy the flying squirrel Destructoid for him.
White Bone Flying Squirrel then went after Jiro, pursuing him in flight as Jiro rode away on his motorcycle. The Destructoid knocked Jiro off a cliff, injuring him but not destroying him. He would later face off against Jiro again after he rescued Mitsuko and Akira from Professor Gill and transformed into Kikaider to fight him. As the two fought outside DARK's base, Kikaider managed to score a lucky hit on White Bone Flying Squirrel, knocking him off the cliff and destroying him.
