You're not the Mandarin, Slattery! You're not even a real criminal!
~ White Power Dave to Trevor Slattery.
White Power Dave is the secondary antagonist in the 2014 Marvel short film All Hail the King. He is an inmate of Seagate Prison who dislikes Trevor Slattery.
He was played by Matt Gerald, who has also portrayed Ray Speltzer in Dexter and Liebo in xXx: State of The Union.
White Power Dave was arrested for an unknown crime he committed and was sent to Seagate Prison, alongside Slattery for his involvement with Aldrich Killian. Being aware that Slattery impersonated the infamous warlord Mandarin as part of Aldrich's plot, many inmates idolized Slattery for his actions. However, Dave isn't among them as he thinks of Slattery as a joke; he even claimed that Trevor is not a real criminal (despite the latter's involvement with Killian).
One day, Slattery accidentally spilled his lunch tray over Dave's shirt, who starts to threaten him for it. Slattery apologized for the inconvenience, but Dave refuses to listen and prepares to beat him up to death. Fortunately, Slattery's fellow inmate Herman brought in several inmates to defend Slattery, much to Dave's shock. Slattery even took the time to taunt Dave by telling him to 'kiss his rings' and that an actor takes his time to inhibit a role of a criminal before becoming one, a statement that the other inmates agree upon. Realizing that it's not worth it, an annoyed Dave walks away from the scene afterwards.
