Whitney Doubleday is the main antagonist of the Scooby-Doo franchise's 27th feature film Big Top Scooby-Doo!
He is animal trainer who stole oranges with diamonds, and he also conspired with Archambault and kidnap circus performers using baboons disguised as werewolves.
He was voiced by Craig Ferguson.
Biography[]
They were haunting a circus, stealing jewelry, and apparently creating more werewolves. The people they "converted" were actually kidnapped and tied up, and the disguised baboons wore the other werewolf costumes as well as the kidnapped victims’ clothing on top. Doubleday also mentioned that the werewolf masks were glued on so they didn’t fall off.
He conspired with Archambault to carry out jewel robberies, using werewolf-disguised baboons. Each time he kidnapped someone from the circus he dressed another baboon in a werewolf costume and their clothes to give the impression that the werewolf was converting others.
He was caught when Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers realized what the "werewolves" really were and that they could be given orders to stop in Spanish. After he was unmasked, Archambault turned against him and shot Doubleday with a tranquilizer dart before he could talk too much and incriminate him. He was then taken away in an ambulance.
Personality[]
He claimed to be happy that he was about to retire, but had a savage personality, having a desire to create more of its kind in order to get what they wanted easier. Like many werewolves, they had a short temper and were likely to attack on sight.
Appearance[]
Whitney is a muscular male with shoulder length dusty brown hair. He wore a two-toned blue unitard and gold bracelets on each wrist.
When he dressed up as a werewolf, were large, muscular and had dark brown fur. The wolves had one desire: to steal jewelry. They had the capability of running at very high speed on all fours, and used their hind legs for jumping long distances.
