Whorm Loathsom is a Kerkoiden male and a supporting antagonist in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated film. He was a general of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and lead its military during the invasion and occupation of Christophsis in 22 BBY during the early stages of the Clone Wars. He makes two appearances in the TV series, both non-speaking. He is Asajj Ventress's confidant.
He was voiced by Corey Burton in the film, who also voiced Count Dooku in the TV series.
Biography[]
Whorm Loathsom was a Kerkoiden male who was born during the final years of the Galactic Republic where he was originally a member of the Kerkodia Planetary Forces before he defected from the Republic to the newly formed Separatist Alliance.
He was eventually able to rise through the ranks of its military to the position of general and lead the Separatist invasion and occupation of Christophsis in 22 BBY during the early years of the Clone Wars in the Outer Rim Territories. He was the leader of the Retail Caucus and lead its military forces during the war and won many victories for the Confederacy due to his strategies and creative tactics, including a string of military campaigns throughout the Southern Core that increased the power and influence of the Separatists.
Christophsis was eventually conquered by the Separatists and placed under a military occupation where Loathsom took over as military governor of the occupied world. He then spoke to the people of Christophsis where he claimed that the Christophans were liberated from the Republic and were now part of the Confederacy and they should be on guard against Republic aggression.

- Ironically, despite his name being a pun on both "worm" and "loathsome", Whorm has been noted as one of the most noble members of the Separatists, to the point where he genuinely believed in the cause he was fighting for.
