The Wicked Dragons are elite and specialized dragon soldiers of the Jaryuu Clan and antagonists in GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
They are created by Ryuuwon having a pack of Jaryuu Soldiers duel each other to the death, before bestowing onto the victor a transformation into a stronger and specialized form. Ryuuwon can also mutate non-Jaryuu into Wicked Dragons through having them undergo a specific ritual. They can be enlarged by Ryuuwon shooting them with a special gun, although several were able to enlarge themselves using the Precious they were sent after.
History[]
The methods for creating a Wicked Dragon were first devised by Ryuuwon 200 years ago through his research into the ancient Lemurian civilization. Ryuuwon jotted down his research into a notebook, which at some point found its way into the hands of a writer in the present and were used as inspiration for a short story.
The first Wicked Dragon that Ryuuwon sent against the Boukengers was Dryken, who Ryuuwon created to steal the "Scale of the Salamander" Precious and fuse with it to become more powerful.
The next Wicked Dragon Ryuuwon created was Lindom, who Ryuuwon sent to obtain the "Medicine of Immortality".
Ryuuwon later transformed Ragi, a citizen of the Water Metropolis, into a Wicked Dragon and enlisted his help in obtaining a map which showed the way to the Water Crystal, assigning the Wicked Dragon Naga to assist him.
The next Wicked Dragon to be sent out was Talong, who Ryuuwon had tasked with obtaining the "Dragon's Eye" table which could manipulate Feng Shui.
Ryuuwon would later create another Wicked Dragon in the form of MOE-TV's mascot "Dembey" and sent him to infiltrate the television station and steal the Jewel of Prosperity.
For his operation to obtain the "Three Headed Dragon of Darkness" Precious, Ryuuwon sacrificed 3,000 Jaryuu Soldiers by having them duel to the death in order to bring about the strongest Wicked Dragon, Dagargin.
However, having sacrificed most of his remaining horde to create Dagargin, Ryuuwon lacked the resources to create more Wicked Dragons as he did not have sufficient Jaryuu Soldiers numbers and was unable to create more due to his weakening power.
