The Wicked Ice Queen is a minor antagonist of the video game Shrek, loosely based on the first Shrek film, as well as the secondary antagonist of Shrek Extra Large, the GameCube port of the game.
She is the evil ruler of an unspecified land which Shrek faces in the Molasses Sewer level of both games, though her role in both games are drastically different from each other. She plays a much more significant role in the GameCube port, where she is the one that had put a curse on Merlin's tower, trapping him inside, and stealing his crystal ball. Merlin then baits Shrek into getting it back by kidnapping Fiona, which causes him to embark on his quest.
Her voice actor is currently unknown.
Appearance[]
The Wicked Ice Queen, as implied by her name, is a human woman with blue skin that wears a blue dress. She also has a crown that resembles and icicle on her head.
Biography[]
Shrek (video game)[]
In the Xbox release of the game, simply called Shrek, the Ice Queen is referred to as the Ice Cream Queen, where she serves as the boss for the level Molasses Sewer. In the level, she was responsible for turning off all of the valves in the sewer, making it at risk for a catastrophic explosion. According to one of her Ice Cream Guards, her kingdom is directly above the sewers, and she planned to have them explode so that her kingdom can be covered in Molasses, and thus be deemed to have "the sweetest kingdom" of all in Sweetsville. Shrek goes after her with knowledge that defeating her technically counts as a good deed.
Shrek Extra Large[]
In the GameCube release of the game, under the name Shrek Extra Large, the Ice Queen was reworked in the game to have a larger role in its story.
