~ Wicket Leader |
The Wickets are the main antagonists of the Regular Show episode "Picking Up Margaret". They are an anti-cell phone street gang that is obsessed with croquet.
The members are voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, Janie Haddad, William Salyers and Mark Hamill.
History[]
The Wickets' turf is on 7th Street of Downtown. They hate cell phones because they consider them "rude". Mordecai accidentally entered their turf on his way to pick up Benson's car. As Mordecai is on the phone with Margaret, the Wickets confront and warn him not to use cell phones on their turf. When Mordecai uses his cell phone again at the auto repair shop, unaware he is still in their territory, the Wickets ambush him in the garage. As they corner him, the mechanic distracts them with a flamethrower, which buys Mordecai the time to escape in Benson's car.
The Wickets give chase in a Jeep and two motorcycles. They catch up after Mordecai picks up Margaret. They spray paint the car on the side, take away and break Margaret's cell phone, and attack the car with mallets. Mordecai shakes them off with some crazy car maneuvers, causing two of them to crash into a box and two others to hit a wooden wall and fall to their deaths. The last three, including their leader, drive up a ramp and are sent flying into a cell phone billboard, exploding.
Trivia[]
