Well, what do we have here? An interesting specimen... I've met so many men, so boring, so average, but... There's something peculiar about this one. I'll keep my eye on you.
~ Widow meeting Shadow for the first time.

Widow is the main antagonist of Act V: The Greatest Temptation of Shadow Fight 2 and one of the overarching antagonists of the Old Wounds storyline in the game's special edition. She is a witch, who, after being humiliated and rejected by the Prince of Ivory City, became vengeful towards all men, manipulating and brainwashing them into becoming her slaves. Before the events of Shadow Fight 2, she, alongside five other powerful fighters, was dragged into the Shadow World through the Gates of Shadows, created by the alien conqueror Titan. Here, she became a host of Titan's Shadow Demon, and was freed alongside other Shadow Demon Hosts after Shadow, an arrogant warrior, opened the Gates, which resulted in the latter losing his physical body and soul.

Before being dragged into the Shadow World, she tried to take revenge on Prince and rule over men by manipulating his right-hand man and warlord Shogun by promising him a magical Sphere that grants great power but would make the wielder her slave. After Shogun's unsuccessful attempts to assassinate the Prince, the Prince took the Sphere from her. Sensei (The protagonist of the Old Wounds Story and Prince's former companion who previously found out his true colors) then arrives to her, trying to stop the Prince. Not trusting him, she and her men attack him, before being defeated. She then reveals Prince's location to him after he reveals that he sympathizes with her.

After her release from the Shadow World, Widow became the keeper of the orange demon seal, which, when combined with other demon seals, can open the Gates of Shadows. Shadow, in his quest to regain his body and soul, proceeded to defeat Widow and her bodyguards, and claimed her seal. Widow, alongside other Demons, returned when Shadow approached the Gates with all six Demon Seals, to stop him from opening it and unleashing Titan. Following Shadow's failed attempt to regain his body, Widow and her bodyguards tried to stop Shadow once again, but failed, warning Shadow about Titan one last time.

Appearance[]

Widow resembles a Maiko Geisha, except she doesn't have a white makeup on her face, only a red dot on her forehead. She has a Shimada hairstyle held together with hairpins, and a red Kimono which has sleeves underneath. She also has red nails.

During the events of Old Wounds, Widow's hair is not held by hairpins, her red pupils can be seen and she doesn't have her sleeves underneath Kimono.

Personality[]

Widow is a vengeful woman who hates any and all men because of Prince rejecting and humiliating her. She is very manipulative and enjoys brainwashing men into fighting each other for her attention. She seems to be particularly interested by Shadow, calling him "an interesting specimen", presumably because of his similarity to Prince. Like other demons, she is afraid of Titan and doesn't want him to arrive into human world, warning Shadow about how his minions are like nothing he has seen before and saying that he pulled the strings from the very beginning like a puppet master.

In the Old Wounds storyline, her personality is quite similar. She also doesn't trust any men because of Prince.

Biography[]

Nothing is known about Widow's past. One day, she met the Prince of Ivory City, falling in love with him. However he rejected her feelings and humilated her, which broke her heart so much she became obsessed with revenge towards men.

Shadow Fight 2[]

Old Wounds[]

In an attempt to get revenge on Prince and rule over all men, Widow starts by manipulating his warlord Shogun into assassinating Prince, promising him the Sphere created by the instability of the Gates of Shadows that grants great power if he will kill the Prince. However, unbeknownst to Shogun, this Sphere will also turn him into her loyal slave.

In an attempt to assassinate his former master, Shogun hires a bandit known as the Butcher to kidnap and kill the Prince. Due to luck, however, he escapes from the bandit, promising him money in exchange for the location of the Sphere. Prince also found out that his soldiers are trained by Hermit.

Prince is not safe, however, because Hermit also hired a young assassin known as Lynx to kill him in exchange for Shogun's permission to train his men and save his school. However, Prince accidentally stumbles into Sensei, who saves him from Lynx and his enforcers and accompanies him in his quest to get revenge on Shogun.

Part III: The Beast Within[]

Widow is mentioned by Butcher, who reveals Prince's true colors to Sensei and later reveals that Shogun was manipulated by a woman to kill the Prince and usurp his throne.

Part IV: The Story of Revenge[]

Widow is mentioned by Wasp after she is defeated, revealing Widow's backstory to Sensei.

Part V: Humilated and Insulted[]

After Sensei arrives to Widow's hiding place, she is furious that the Prince's companion arrived and wants to strike back because she doesn't trust any males anymore. She and her followers then try to kill him, but he quickly defeats them. Sensei then tries to speak some sense into her, saying that he sympathizes with her. Realizing that Sensei is genuinely honest with his intention to stop the Prince, she reveals that the latter already took the Sphere from her, and now wants to execute Shogun in the place where he and Widow first met. She also warns Sensei that the Prince became wild after taking the Sphere.

Widow, alongside other powerful warriors (Lynx, Hermit, Butcher, Wasp and Shogun) was later dragged into the Shadow World through the Gates of Shadows, where the Gates' creator, an intergalactic conqueror known as Titan, turned her and other captured warriors into hosts of the Shadow Demons.

Main Storyline[]

Act IV: Pirate Throne[]

Widow and other Demons were freed after the Gates were opened by Shadow, a powerful but arrogant warrior who wanted to find worthy opponent. This resulted in the latter losing his physical body and soul from the Shadow Energy Emissions.

In order to return his physical form, Shadow and his companions (his Sensei and a blacksmith May), started to pursue the Demon Seals that can open the Gates again, with each of them belonging to a Demon, including Widow.

Upon release, Widow manipulates Wasp, a fellow Shadow Demon, to overthrow and kill the Pirate King, her father, and show men that women should rule. This, however, results in a mutiny, causing some to betray her and form the "New Blood", meanwhile her advisors still serve her, but are full of dislike and suspicion. This caused Wasp to go into hiding.

After Shadow defeats Wasp, she returns to her senses and asks what she did because of Widow's manipulation, saying that the woman promised the young pirate princess that everyone would kneel to her if she agreed to help her.

Act V: The Greatest Temptation[]

Shadow and the group continue their journey to get the remaining seals, now trying to find Widow. Upon meeting her, she says that Shadow is different from the different men she brainwashed and that she will keep eye on him. She also brainwashes Sly, one of Shadow's companions, into buying gifts to her.

Shadow then fights her bodyguards, who are all men brainwashed by her into fighting each other for her attention, and who think that Shadow also wants her attention. The exception is Puma, her last bodyguard, who is instead a female who helps Widow because she is impressed by her ability to brainwash men. Upon defeating all bodyguards, Shadow fights Widow herself, who claims she will turn him into a part of her "collection" too. After being defeated, she asks Shadow how it feels to defeat a woman, and warns him that he has no idea how quickly the Gates of Shadows' powers will tear him apart.

Act VI: Iron Reign (Gates of Shadows)[]

Widow, alongside her fellow Demons, appears at the end of the Act, trying to prevent Shadow from opening the Gates and locking them away again. They lose to Shadow again however, but Shadow didn't succeed in his goals, instead losing May after she was dragged into the Shadow World.

Interlude[]

Widow and her bodyguards once again appear in Act V, serving as the fifth boss rush of the Interlude. This time, Widow fights for good cause, as she doesn't want Shadow to re-open the Gates and unleash Titan. Before the fight, she tells Shadow that Titan's minions are different from Shadow's previous enemies and that they are too powerful for him. After defeat, she says that Titan manipulates him like a puppet master, and that even now he does what the conqueror wants him to do.

Widow, alongside other Shadow Demon Hosts, was freed from her Shadow Demon following Titan's death.

Shadow Fight 4: Arena[]

Widow is mentioned in one of Lynx's quotes.
