Lightning Ninja Wild is a World Ninja from America acting as a Wild West-style bounty hunter and an antagonist in episode 20 of Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. Though starting off antagonistic, he would later become one of Jiraiya's allies.

He was portrayed by Jiro Ishii.

Biography[]

Wild was recruited by the Sorcerers Clan after he took notice of one of the posters they had put up offering $100,000 for Jiraiya. Taking an interest in Jiraiya, Wild took the Sorcerers Clan up on their offer and followed them back to Japan to face Jiraiya. He ambushed Toha as he was teaching one of his ninja aerobics classes, but was unable to hit him with any of his shots. Wild and the Sorcerers then kidnapped Kei and Manabu in order to lure Jiraiya out so Wild could duel him. After Jiraiya arrived at the western-style town the Sorcerers Clan had set up shop in, Wild appeared to duel him. The two ninjas fought and Wild was able to incapacitate Jiraiya with his pistol-wielding skills, but decided not to finish him off by shooting him as he believed Jiraiya deserved something much more worthy. It was then that the Sorcerers Clan betrayed Wild and attempted to shoot both Jiraiya and Wild, leading the two to team up to fight them off. After the Sorcerers Clan escaped via a train, Jiraiya and Wild reconciled.
