William James Adams, Jr. (AKA "Will.i.am") is a one-time villain from The Cleveland Show, only appearing in the episode "Menace to Secret Society". He is a famous rapper and second in command for the Hip Hop Illuminati, with Kenny West being the leader.
He is voiced by his real-life counterpart.
Biography[]
In "Menace to Secret Society", Will.i.am participated in a Hip Hop Illuminati meeting, where he proposed a toast to the Hip Hip Illuminati. Will.i.am tried to drink from his chalice but it got stuck in his hood and he had to yank it off. Will.i.am revealed his face and told Kenny West that he was fine with wearing all of the silly outfits for their team but they had to either get bigger hoods or smaller chalices. Kenny West proposed that they start a trend of riding ostriches and wearing hats made out of spaghetti, which Will.i.am (and everyone else) thought was stupid. When Cleveland was discovered and introduced to the Hip Hip Illuminati, Will.i.am explained their story to Cleveland, by leading the song "Trend Starters", which told them that their secret society was all about starting trends. Will.i.am and the rest of the Hip Hop Illuminati (sans Kenny West) later showed up in Cleveland's house and told Cleveland that they wanted him to kill Kenny West's career. As Will.i.am explained, they used to like having Kenny as their leader but since his ego got out of control, he took the organization in a whole different direction that distracted them from their true goals. Unfortunately, none of them could kick him out of the group if he was the biggest hip hop star out there, so they required Cleveland to sabotage his career so they could kick him out. Will.i.am said that Cleveland should accuse Kenny of losing touch with the streets, which would prompt him to do whatever crazy thing he could to prove him wrong. The weird thing they decided on making Kenny West do was sing polka music. Cleveland went to Kenny West and tricked him into going in a polka direction with Junior and his band of weirdos. Before the big show, Will.i.am gave Cleveland a $15 gift card for iTunes and said that if he ruined Kenny West's career and led to his departure from their group, he could replace him in the Hip Hop Illuminati and receive even more cool awards. However, Cleveland failed to ruin Kenny West's career and only made him more popular than ever. Will.i.am, along with the rest of the group, decided to give up on the Hip Hop Illuminati and disband the organization.
