Willie Bingham is the titular villainous protagonist of the Australian Horror/Thriller short film The Disappearance of Willie Bingham.

Biography[]

Willie Bingham was a criminal convicted of the rape and murder of a young school girl as such he was the first to be sentenced to the new form of capital punishment having parts of his body amputated (which the family of the victims choose how far to go with said surgeries).

He was approached one day in his cell where he met a man named George Morton who informed Willie of the amputations that would be performed on him. After hearing what his fate was he vomited and asked to be killed but was denied.

Willie would begin to get limbs amputated, the first being his right hand and left leg. Over the next few months Willie was forced to give lectures to troubled teens as well as losing more body parts such as his left arm, right leg, a kidney, and a lung.

Eventually people started to protest the cruel methods of punishment deeming it inhumane, however this did not stop or slow down the surgeries.

After five months Willie's fifth surgery would involve him having his genitals cut off which he begged them not to let happen, but the father of the victim gave the thumbs up and Willie was put under anesthesia as the surgery began.

After losing his genitals Willie was so mentally broken he never spoke or even showed any sign of emotion again. When the final surgery came around which would involve Willie losing both ears, a nose, a tip of his tongue, and laser depilating the rest of his body, Willie ultimately showed no sign of having any will left.

After the final surgery ended the father of the victim said he did not want to go any further with the surgeries. Later that night the father signed a document George Morton gave him to discontinue with the surgeries and gave Willie one last disgusted look before leaving.

Willie now lives the rest of his days on the top floor of the prison as a mindless zombie with his lights always on. He is completely wheelchair bound and lives the rest of his days unable to hear, smell, taste, walk, or even move, as well as not being able to see nothing except the ceiling of his cell, except for the last week of the month, where he and George Morton visit high schools to show the result of the surgeries.
