Biography[]
The film's events saw William escort a young girl named Brooklyn through the city after picking her up from school. Although Brooklyn was confused at William collecting her instead of her mother, he assured her that he would take her to meet her soon.
As the two passed through abandoned buildings, they were observed by mysterious hooded individuals dubbed "Bad Things," with William stating that those who were evil had a "way of making themselves look normal." Brooklyn chose to pass the time by telling William various urban legends, which constituted the segments of the film.
When Brooklyn was taken to the place William claimed her mother was, it was shown to be a dark basement with a camera set up. It was there that William's true evil nature of a psychotic child murderer was revealed with him placing a sack on Brooklyn's head and preparing to murder her with an axe while recording the process for his own twisted amusement.
Just before he could strike, the "Bad Things" (revealed to be the spirits of William's previous child victims) arrived and surrounded him. As William attempted to flee, the ghost children surrounded him with weapons, causing him to beg for his life and offer to actually bring Brooklyn to her mother. Brooklyn then revealed herself to be a demon and welcomed him to Hell before he was brutally hacked apart with his head severed. As the children's ghosts ascended into the air, Brooklyn dragged William's spirit to Hell, cackling with glee as she did so.
