William Gardner, also known as Eddie Fish is the minor antagonist of The Mentalist TV-show. He is the murderer of the father of the murder victim of the episode. He was played by Jonathan Schmock.

Biography

Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's team are called to investigate another murder. A young woman named Talia Suarez is murdered. She came to the island to investigate the murder of her father. Her father's killer was a certain Eddie Fish. Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's team conduct a survey of the locals. At some point, Patrick Jane decides to gather all the inhabitants of that island. Patrick's colleagues collect dishes from which the island's inhabitants are found to compare their DNA with Eddie Fish's DNA. One of the inhabitants, William Gardener, escapes. But Teresa Lisbon's team arrests him, and he confesses to the murder of Talia's father.
