Willie's group are the main antagonists of the Ravenpaw's Path manga trilogy in the Warriors series. They are a band of rogues, formerly warriors of BloodClan, who at first seem to just be friendly visitors. They come to Windover farm seeking shelter, and the farm's inhabitants Ravenpaw and Barley allow them to stay for a while. However, they soon show their true colors when they force the two loners out of their home and take it over by force, seeking to form their own Clan. With the help of ThunderClan, the rogues are driven out, and the two farm cats reclaim their home.
History[]
Willie, Minty, Snapper, Tess and Pounce were all members of BloodClan. When their leader and founder Scourge was killed in battle however, BloodClan became unstable as cats competed to try and usurp leadership. Willie and his allies soon grew tired of this and fled, intending to create their own Clan, with Willie promising his group that they'd find the perfect territory for it soon.
Soon enough, Willie hears about two loners named Ravenpaw and Barley who allow travelers to stay at their farm, and takes his group there with the intent of seizing the land as their own. Ravenpaw and Barley find the group one snowy night, who put on a friendly façade and ask for shelter. Willie points out that his mate Minty is expecting their kittens very soon, and the two loners are happy to let the group stay. The farm cats hunt for their visitors, and soon after Minty gives birth to a litter of four kits, naming them Snowflake, Icicle, Cloudy and Sniff.
While staying at the farm, the rogues are very fearful of the twolegs who own it, but Ravenpaw assures them that there's nothing to be afraid of. Willie explains that the group has had bad experiences with twolegs in the past, and old habits die hard. Ravenpaw begins showing Willie around the farm and teaching him what the twolegs won't allow them to do, such as hunting the chickens. Willie comments on how nice life on the farm is, and Ravenpaw notices that the rogue seems very interested in it, though can't figure out why.
Meanwhile, Barley becomes suspicious of the rogues when he overhears Snapper having the kittens practice killing moves on mice. His suspicion increases when he later overhears Snapper asking Willie when the group will get their own territory like he had promised. Willie tells him to be patient, reminding him that he's the leader. He tries telling Ravenpaw of his suspicions, but the smaller tom brushes his concerns off, saying they need to be hospitable to their guests. Soon after, Willie gathers up his group and announces that they're leaving. The kits want to stay, but Snapper tells them to listen to their father. Ravenpaw is sad to see them go, but Barley is more relived.
A little while later, Ravenpaw and Barley hear the sounds of distressed chickens coming from the chicken coop. When they investigate, they find Willie's group - minus Minty and her children - up in the rafters. Ravenpaw is happy to see them until he sees that they've been killing chicklings, reprimanding them and reminding them that they aren't allowed to hunt the livestock. The group drops their façade though, telling the loner that they don't need to follow his rules, before grabbing the dead chicks and fleeing. Ravenpaw and Barley get chased out of the coop by a twoleg before perusing the rogues.
The rogues then reveal that they were former members of BloodClan, who intend to take the farm over so they make create a Clan of their own. A fight then ensues, with the rogues quickly defeating the loners, mocking that they are weak and have no hope of winning. Willie is about to kill Ravenpaw before Minty tells him to stop, saying that the two have already learned their lesson, and there's no need to kill them. Willie agrees to spare him and tells the two that the farm belongs to him now, driving them out. While in control of the farm, Willie and his lackeys begin tormenting the other animals for fun. They also invite many more rogues and BloodClan cats to live with them, including BloodClan's two new leaders Snake and Ice.
Meanwhile, Ravenpaw and Barley go to seek help from their old friends in ThunderClan. After helping the Clan with their own troubles concerning BloodClan, ThunderClan's leader Firestar agrees to aid them in fighting off the rogues and taking back the farm. Firestar follows Ravenpaw and Barley back to the farm, bringing along a battle patrol consisting of his deputy Graystripe as well as Brambleclaw, Brightheart, Cloudtail and Brackenfur. They try to attack and drive out the rogues at night, but this plan fails when Willie is alerted by the squawking of the chickens as Snapper harasses them. The patrol also finds that there are more cats there than anticipated, and soon a twoleg comes in to investigate the noise of the fighting cats, causing all of them to scatter.
The next morning, as Firestar, Graystripe and Ravenpaw sit on the roof of the smaller barn they're staying in and forming a new battle plan, the see Snapper and Pounce leaving. Firestar stops the other two from giving chase, figuring that they're leaving out of fear of another battle. That night, a new battle plan is set in motion: Brambleclaw and Brackenfur create a diversion by releasing the chickens from their coop, while the others tear a hole into the roof of the main barn and enter from there. Soon the loners and ThunderClan cats have their opponents surrounded, and it seems like they've won. Ravenpaw stares down Willie and orders him and his group to leave, but the brown tom says nothing in response, only staring back at him in contempt.
Just then, Snapper and Pounce return with many BloodClan reinforcements. The patrol is then outnumbered, and Willie orders his cats to tear them apart. Luckily though, the dogs that live on the farm burst out of the twolegs house and rush over to the battle. The loners, ThunderClan cats, and dogs all fight together, ad\nd soon enough the rogues and BloodClan cats are driven away. Ravenpaw pins Willie down and is about to attack, but is interrupted when Snake and Ice get cornered by a dog and beg their brother Barley for help. They claim that they didn't know Barley lived on the farm, and Willie spits that they knew all along, calling them cowards. Barley then saves his brothers, and Ravenpaw orders Willie to leave once more, threatening to tear his skin off if he ever sets foot on the farm again. Willie snaps that it isn't over, and he'll come back once ThunderClan isn't around to help, fleeing as Ravenpaw hisses at him to get out. Afterwards, neither Willie nor any of the cats in his group are seen again.
