Biography[]
A group of rogues led by Willie come to the farm, asking to shelter there from the heavy snow. Willie introduces himself and says that his pregnant mate will be giving birth soon. Ravenpaw and Barley are more than happy to let the group stay, and Willie thanks them, saying they won't make much trouble. When the two farm cats introduce themselves, Willie reveals that he already knows who they are, as he's heard word of them offering other rogues and loners a place to stay. Soon after, Willie's mate Minty gives birth to their kittens: Snowflake, Cloudy, Icicle and Sniff.
While the rogues stay, they hide whenever twolegs come near. Ravenpaw tells them that they don't need to be afraid, and Willie explains that they've had bad experiences with twolegs in the past, and that old habits die hard. Ravenpaw then takes note of Willie being especially interested in the farm, but can't discern why. When he and Barley find Willie near the chicken coop, they tell him that the twolegs don't allow anyone to hunt the chickens. The rogue thanks them for informing him and promises not to harm any of the chickens. He then talks about how nice life on the farm is.
Barley, not trusting the visiting rogues, eavesdrops on Willie's conversation with a fellow rogue named Snapper one day, where he hears the brown tom saying he has a plan to get the group their own territory. He tells Snapper to be patient, reminding him that he's the boss. Soon after Willie gathers his group and says that they need to get going, thanking Barley and Ravenpaw for their hospitality.
A few days later, Ravenpaw and Barley hear noise coming from the chicken coop, and upon investigating, they find Willie and some of his rogues in the coop's rafters. Ravenpaw is excited to see them again until he discovers that they've been killing chicklings. When he reprimands them for this, Willie sneers that he doesn't have to follow someone else's rules. He and his peers then grab some of the dead chicks and flee as an angry twoleg comes in, seeing what had happened and assuming Ravenpaw and Barley are the culprits.
After getting chased out of the coop, the two farm cats find the rogues nearby. Willie reveals that his kind act from before was a façade, telling the two of his intent to take over the farm. He also reveals that he and his rogues were former members of BloodClan. A fight ensues, but Willie and the rogues easily overpower both farm cats, taunting that they've gone soft and have no hope of defeating him. Right before he's about to kill Ravenpaw though, Minty begs for him to stop. Reluctantly he spares them both, telling the two to get out of his new home as he chases them away from the farm.
After seeking guidance from StarClan, Ravenpaw and Barley go to ThunderClan for help. After helping the Clan cats deal with BloodClan cats stealing their prey, ThunderClan's leader Firestar goes with them to take back their home alongside Graystripe, Brambleclaw, Brightheart, Cloudtail and Brackenfur. When they arrive, they see Willie and his cats harassing the farm's chickens and dogs. They also find that there are several more cats there, with some of them being from BloodClan. That night, the Clan cats try executing their battle plan, but this fails when the chickens' squawking as Snapper torments them alerts the rogues. The Clan cats are outnumbered, and the battle ends when a twoleg shows up and all the cats scatter.
When the second battle commences, the rogues are surrounded by the Clan cats. Ravenpaw demands that Willie leave, but the rogues' leader instead stares him down. Suddenly, many more rogues and BloodClan cats come from over the fence, and Willie commands them to kill his foes. As the Clan cats are surrounded, Willie mocks how pathetic they look before ordering them to be torn apart. Just then though, the fam's dogs are set loose and begin attacking the rogues alongside the Clan cats. Ravenpaw manages to pin down Willie, but before he attacks, he hears two BloodClan cats beg for their lives a few feet away as a dog corners them. The two cats, named Hoot and Jumper, reveal that they are Barley's brothers and beg for him to save them, claiming that they didn't know this was his farm. Willie hisses that they knew all along, calling them cowards, but Barley saves his brothers nonetheless.
Ravenpaw then lets Willie go, threatening to tear his skin off should he ever return. Willie snaps back that this isn't over, and once his friends in ThunderClan are gone he'll be back, but Ravenpaw hisses at him to leave. Willie reluctantly flees, and is not seen again.
