Willy Wonka is a character featured in the 1964 Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, its sequel Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, and the former's movie adaptations Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005). Despite being treated as a hero, he is parodied as a villain in numerous works.
