~ Willy Wonka

Willy Wonka is the overarching antagonist of the 2007 spoof film, Epic Movie. He sends out four gold tickets and whoever gets them will be able to visit his factory.

He was portrayed by Crispin Glover, who also played Grendel in Beowulf, Fifi in Open Season, Knave of Hearts in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Stan Bittleman in Like Mike, and Thin Man in the Charlie's Angels film series.

Eventually the four main protagonists (named Peter, Susan, Edward, and Lucy) get the Golden Tickets and they go to the factory. After Edward consumes the chocolate river (which is actually a sewage line), Willy greets them, only to reveal that the secret ingredient of his candy is real human parts, and intends on using the orphans in his next batch.

They try to escape but are captured. Willy proceeds to put them through agonizing experiments and took part in some of them, most notably kicking off Susan's head, though it is reattached while dancing to Fergie's "Fergalicious". He then puts his symbol on them all and locks them in a room, though they later escape. In the end credits of the theatrical version of the film, he is seen dancing as the Oompa-Loompas sing "He's Willy".

Deleted Scene/Alternate Ending

Willy in the alternate ending.

In the last scene, Willy, instead of Borat, comes in and says: "How was your epic adventure?". Willy reveals to the orphans that he was behind their trip to Gnarnia, and the beautiful bikini lady comes in and enters the wardrobe alongside Willy, as puts out a "do not disturb" sign, implying that he is having sex with her. The Oompa-Loompas come in and start singing and dancing. The four are then crushed by the wheel.

That's actually the sewer line. Yeah.

There's gonna be a little itty bitty piece of each and every one of you inside of the yummy yum candy, literally.
~ Willy revealing his diabolical plan to the protagonists.
No, no, no. I can't do that.
~ Willy to the protagonists after Susan told them to let her and the others out.
Hey, who wants to chew my gumballs?

Who wants to play with Willy?
~ Willy Wonka

  • He is the parody of the candy maker Willy Wonka from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (2005) and likes cannibalism.
  • Willy Wonka's appearance is based on Johnny Depp's character from the 2005 version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. However, he wears a purple coat just like the late Gene Wilder's portrayal of Willy Wonka in the 1971 film.
    • Ironically, Crispin Glover (who played this Willy Wonka) and Johnny Depp played the Knave of Hearts and the Madd Hatter respectively in Alice in Wonderland (2010), facing each other.
