Wilma Jerzyck is a supporting antagonist in the Stephen King novel Needful Things. She is the wife of Pete Jerzyck and a part-time employee at Hemphill's Market. Wilma is most notable for her conflict with Nettie Cobb and her dog, which would inevitably lead to the death of both women.
In the live-action adaption, she was portrayed by Valri Bromfield.
Even before her conflict with Nettie Cobb, it was mentioned in the novel that being angry was apart of life for Wilma. Most of what is shown about Wilma's personality is her unpleasantness and her desire for revenge, as she threatened to skin Nettie's dog multiple times. This also demonstrates her dislike for animals, which would again be seen when she requested her husband kill one of their turkeys so that they could have it for dinner.
Biography[]
In the live-action film, Wilma and her husband are first seen examining the stores antique items. This was until Nettie Cobb arrived with a present for the store's owner Leland Gaunt, bringing her dog along with her. Seeing Wilma caused the dog to start to bark at Wilma, which made her angry and threaten to both kill the dog and report him to the sheriff. After this, she stormed out angrily.
Later on, Wilma is seen walking back into her home while requesting that her husband kill a turkey so that they could have it for dinner. Soon after, she walked through laundry that was hanging out to dry, which was now entirely covered in mud by Brian Rusk in order to pay for his "needful thing". Assuming that this was caused by Nettie, she called Nettie at her work, again threatening her dog. Wilma show up to Nettie's work place soon after, breaking a salt-shaker and again threatening Nettie's dog.
Wilma would be seen one final time to her home where she found all of her glass windows and appliances broken, which was again done by Brian Rusk. Before she could take action, she turned around to find Nettie standing in her home, Nettie being there to confront her about her now-deceased dog (whom had been killed by Hugh Preist in order to pay for his Needful Thing. Nettie then pulled out a knife, prompting Wilma to grab a kitchen knife. The two then began attacking each other, which would go on for some time. They would eventually end up on the second floor, where the fight would end after Nettie tackled Wilma out of a window. Both women would die after being stricken with their respective weapons from the fall.

Trivia[]
Like with many other characters, there are a few difference between her portrayal in the novel and in the live action film. These include the mention of her occupation and her anger towards Nettie regarding her dog having existed before the visit to Needful Things (which Wilma never visited in the book).
