Villain Overview

Win Hareruya is a member of the Desire Grand Prix Staff who turns into Kamen Rider PunkJack and a major antagonist in Kamen Rider Geats, serving as the secondary antagonist of the "Conspiracy" arc.

He is portrayed by Tsubasa Sakiyama.

History[]

Past[]

Win Hareruya was the grandson of the president of Hareruya Business, who was also a sponsor of the Desire Grand Prix. He sought to have a singing career and formed a band called "Weather Hearts" with several of his friends, in which he was the lead singer, but their music career failed to take off. Win's grandfather then got Win a job as a Guard Rider in the Desire Grand Prix Staff.

Recruitment into the DGP Staff[]

As a Guard Rider, Win's duty was to wipe the memories of the DGP Riders who got eliminated and to prevent any of them from leaving the Jyamar Area during the duration of each round. He eventually discovered that his old bandmate Hiroki had entered the DGP with the desire of making their band successful but now regretted it and was trying to flee, as he did not want to die and leave his wife and child without support. Win intervened to rescue him from some Pawn Jyamato, earning him a scolding from the Guard Rider captain, Kazuki Mashima, and allowing Hiroki to voluntarily withdraw from the game.

Later, Kazuki roped Win into taking part in a mutiny he and the other Guard Riders were plotting to seize control of the DGP and make Girori grant their wishes. However, Win hesitated when he saw how selfish Kazuki's wish was, something Girori took notice of. Deciding to test Win's abilities, Girori tossed him a Desire Driver and the PunkJack Core ID and instructed him to take out the Guard Riders. With his new Rider transformation, Win was easily able to fight off Kazuki and his cohorts. Satisfied with Win's demonstration of his powers, Girori then became Kamen Rider Glare and used his drones to brainwash the mutinous Guard Riders into submission.

Encounter[]

During the "Trump" round, which required the DGP Riders to partner up, as there was an odd number of players, PunkJack was brought in to be Morio Koganeya's partner, but Morio became annoyed by how PunkJack didn't seem to listen to his commands and tried to change partners.

Conspiracy[]

Win was later selected by Girori to go undercover in the next season of the Desire Grand Prix and covertly work to eliminate Ace from the game, with the promise that if he succeeded he would be allowed to keep his memories of the DGP. When questioned by the other participants if he was the same PunkJack from the previous season, Win claimed to not know anything about him.

During the "Labyrinth Escape" round, Win attempted to get Michinaga Azuma's help in eliminating Ace, only for Ace to uncover their plan.

Dissatisfied by Win's failures, Girori refused to let him keep his memories, creating an opportunity for Ace to get closer to Win and use him to obtain more information about the DGP. This prompted Girori to intervene himself and become Kamen Rider Glare, before using his drone to brainwash PunkJack. Glare forced PunkJack to suicide bomb Geats, but Geats was able to survive.

Later, the fact that Girori had used the grandson of one of the DGP's sponsors was one of the factors which contributed to Niramu deciding to fire Girori.

Return[]

Win survived the explosion but was heavily injured, requiring him to be hospitalized. After he was nursed back to health, he was approached by Niramu, who personally apologized for Girori's actions and provided him with his Desire Driver and Core ID so he could touch them to regain his memories.

With Suel having decided to initiate the Grand End and move the DGP to another era in time, Niramu and Win Hareruya were brought in to help with the preparations for it.

Trivia[]

  • His name "Hareruya Win" is a pun on "Halloween".
