Wind-Demon Reppu, also referred to as "General" (Taisho) by his followers, is the leader of the Wind-Demon Ninja Army and the main antagonist of the first half of Ninja Captor.
He is portrayed by Shinzo Hotta.
Biography[]
After spending generations underground, the Wind-Demon Army surfaced under Wind-Demon Reppu's leadership to finally put in motion their plan to take over Japan. On order of Reppu, the Fuma Ninja Blood Bat kidnapped Ritsu, the daughter of Japan's director of National Defense, so she could be held for ransom against her father. Reppu planned to use Ritsu to force her father to hand over ammunition and weapons to the Wind-Demon Army, but a lone ninja named Daisuke Izumo objected to the plan, viewing it as dishonorable and against the ways of the ninja. Going by the teachings of his master, Master Tendo, Daisuke rescued Ritsu and attempted to escape with her, leading Reppu to send his Wind-Demon Low-Rank Ninjas after them both.
Daisuke managed to escape, but Ritsu was recaptured by Blood Bat. Reppu and Blood Bat would then meet with the Defense director at the designated meeting spot to see if he had brought what they demanded. When they found he hadn't, Reppu began beating his daughter in front of him, only for Daisuke to arrive again to save her. Daisuke came together with six other students of Master Tendo to form the Ninja Captor and together the seven heroic ninjas defeated Blood Bat, rescued Ritsu and thwarted Reppu's evil plan.
