I'm Winston, the wispy wise worm, and I'm here to show you how the magic of reading can pull you into a brand new world!
~ Winston in response to Chelsea asking who he was.

Winston The Worm is the titular main antagonist of the Cyanide and Happiness short "Winston The Worm".

Biography[]

The story begins with the members of the Murphy family reading different pieces of literature. Suddenly, Winston magically appeared in the room and introduced himself. The family was amazed, and he began to explain the power of imagination. He then transported each member of the family into their respective stories, Greg (the son) into a super hero comic and flew around like a superhero, Chelsea (the wife) into a shopping magazine where she collected different pieces of clothing, and Bill (the husband) into his newspaper, which doubled as his grave. Chelsea and Greg eventually came out of their books, but Bill did not. This concerned the two, and not too long after, Winston revealed his true intentions to live with them from now on in Bill's place.

Appearance[]

Winston appears to be a giant pink earthworm. He is wearing a pair of large, circular glasses and there is a graduation cap with a hole in the top, where the rest of his head sticks through. He has a pair of black stick-like arms that the Cyanide and Happiness characters normally have, with which he uses to hold a brown wooden pointer. His mouth is very disfigured, at first appears normal, but his teeth turn sharp and jagged after revealing his true colors.

Personality[]

Winston at first appeared to be an educator of imagination and reading. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that he was actually a pervert who just wanted to replace Bill as the head of the Murphy family.
