Wisely Kamelot, also known as Demon Eye Wisely is a major character in D.Gray-man Hallow.
He is the 5th disciple of the Noah Family, representing Noah's "Wisdom". The name of his reincarnated form is unknown. Wisely human form eventually reincarnated in a human host in London after his previous reincarnation was killed by Nea D.Campbell. The damage that Nea caused to Wisely was so severe that it took him 35 years to fully recover and reincarnate. Wisely is the only Noah who remember his previous reincarnations. He is a major antagonist in the Artificial Exorcists Arc.
He is voiced by Sōichirō Hoshi in Japanese and by Micah Solusod in English.
Appearance[]
Wisely appears as a teenager of slightly below average height for his age. When not in his Noah form, Wisely's hair is brown and somewhat curly and wavy, his skin appears lighter than in his Noah form. However in his Noah form, he is known for his snow white hair and five eyes: his two normal ones and three extra, the extra eyes running in a line along his forehead and forming from his stigmata. The rest are hidden by the extra long scarf that he wears over the top of his forehead. He has the typical amber eyes of the Noah but unlike the others He and Road have an extra iris inside the normal one. He was also drawn with black nails in his Noah form.

Like all Noah, Wisely fought alongside the Earl against the users of Innocence 7000 years ago. When the Earl was defeated, the Noah sheltered in the Noah's ark during the great flood. They mated and Wisely procreated. At their death, Wisely's memory continued to live on in new human hosts, every host remembering their past lives unlike the other Noah.

Wisely's previous Noah incarnation seemingly played a part in the manhunt of the fourteenth by the Noah family thirty-five years ago. They eventually were killed by Nea D. Campbell, and the damage Nea caused to Wisely's Noah memory was so violent it took Wisely's Noah the full thirty-five years to recover and reincarnate. The memory of what happened seems to have caused Wisely (the memory) to feel a particularly vehement grudge against Nea.
Current[]
Wisely's current human incarnation is that of a young hobo who lived in London, England. He was eventually adopted into the Kamelot household by Tricia Kamelot and Sheril Kamelot making him the adoptive brother of Road Kamelot and the adoptive nephew of Tyki Mikk.
Personality[]
Wisely, like all Noah, has an instinctual hatred of all Innocence and Exorcists. In addition to that, though, Wisely, while being a bit sadistic, has also been shown to be a bit aloof and lazy, displaying a lack of desire to be part of the battlefield and simply responding when Sheril calls out for his help that he's "not a fighter". Wisely seems to almost be constantly reading the minds of others, frequently holding one-sided conversations with them after reading whatever their train of thought was at the moment, and while he claims to "respect the privacy" of his fellow Noah and doesn't read their minds, Tyki has made it very clear that he is a liar and he will just read the minds of mostly everyone.
Wisely remembers all the past lives of Wisely (the Noah inside him). This information make him wiser and more knowledgeable than he should be at his age. He doesn't seem to have lost his own form of identity as exemplified by the instance in which his memory attempted to take him over - Wisely resisted in order to remain himself. His identity's difference of opinion regarding Nea (the Memory has a deep hatred for him while the human seems to share his sister's point of view) also highlights this characteristic. His loyalty to the Earl prevails over his conflicted opinion of Nea.
Biography[]
Artificial Exorcists Arc[]
A young hobo stumbles across London who clutching his head and starts experiencing agonizing headaches. Two policemen arrive to help him only to be horrified that he has five eyes. The Noah inside the young hobo, Wisely soon awakens and he uses his Demon Eye to dispose of the two policemen by imploding their brain. Soon afterwards the Earl appears and welcomes Wisely back along the other Noah. Wisely then calls each of the Noah family by their Noah name instead of their original name. He then "overhears" Tyki confusion with his mind reading abilities and explains the Noah history to him and Sheril Kamelot. Though when Tyki becomes nervous at the prospect of having his mind read, Wisely unsuccessfully attempts to convince him he was just reading his facial expressions rather than his mind.
Wisely then take a note that Tyki resembles a certain someone (Nea) but Road tells Wisely to keep it a secret. Wisely is then soon adopted to the Kamelot household and the Earl arrives telling Wisely that Sheril Kamelot will be his father. 46 hours later Wisely arrives at Jordan and invades the camp, that Yu Kanda and Tewaku is in charge of. After conforming Kanda identity, Wisely says they are going to use his brain for "their" party, with that he attacks Kands with his Demon Eye knocking him unconscious. Before leaving he slaughters everyone in the camp but spares Tewaku life however he implants false images into her brain of her attacking Allen and her siblings. Wisely then takes Kanda to the North American Branch, where the Millennium Earl has taken the entire building hostage.
Wisely is then seen sitting beside an unconscious Kanda, he hears Zuu Mei Chang thoughts and is quick to confirm the old man fears. That the Black Order will be destroyed by its own creation. Wisely then notes to the mind of Alma Karma who is unconscious in a suspension tank in floor of the room they are in, is closed off to him. When Kanda finally wakes up Wisely looks on in exasperation as the Earl exuberantly calls out for Alma to wake up.
Allen Walker then uses the Ark Gate to arrive at the scene along with Tyki. the Fourteenth inside Allen awakens and stirs he proclaims he will kill the current Earl and become the next Earl, shocking everybody. When Allen regains control of his body, Wisely takes interest in the young Exorcist, as Wisely says that Allen has piqued his interest to Road, Kanda leaps off and takes Road off Wisely's shoulders. Sheril then uses his powers to prevent both Allen and Kanda with the captured Tokusa, summoning a monolith of tubing from Alma's containment tank, and Wisely takes a seat on the monolith.
The Earl then taunts Kanda about Alma. Wisely is one of the many who is shocked when Kanda claims not to know him. The Noah then turn to Wisely for an explanation, but he tells them to wait. Wisely then uses his power to submerge Kanda Allen and Road into Kanda memories, when Tokusa demands what he did to them, Wisely simply brushes him off he also brushes off the Earl, Sheril and Tyki and the three note that Wisely also trapped Road with his messy aim in the memories as well.
Zuu Mei then tells Wisely to not let Kanda and Alma suffer anymore and begs him as he realizes what Wisely has done. Wisely responds not to expect pity from him. Eventually Allen has had enough of seeing through Kanda memories and by sheer willpower he manages to break free from Wisely control. shocking Wisely, Allen then punches Kanda in the forehead which breaks and removes the replica of Wisely eye formed in their forehead. However this causes Wisely headaches to begin, "chronic ailment" as Road's calls it. Wisely then collapses in pain and screaming as he shouts in agony as he begins to suffer a debilitating headache.
After Alma awakens, Wisely, still in pain, sits back with the other Noah as they observe from a safe distance. A great battle ensues between Kanda, Alma and Allen, which Wisely observes silently from the Earl's side, and when Alma's weak body begins to deteriorate due to the effects of the Dark Matter, Allen helps Kanda, who has had an epiphany and decided to reconcile with Alma, go to Alma's side, using the Earl as a counterbalance when he uses his Crown Clown to throw them both skyward. Wisely grabs the Earl, along with Sheril, to support him, and listens to Allen announce that he will not let the Noah or the Order go after Kanda and Alma after he helps the two escape with an Ark Gate.
Powers and abilities[]
Noah Natural abilities: As a Noah, Wisely has absolute command over all Akuma's, as well as immunity to Akuma blood virus that is lethal to any normal human. All of his abilities are based off Dark Matter and he can simply destroy Innocence by merely touching them. Similar to all Noah, his physical stats are incredibly high, however in Wisely's case he claims he is "not a fighter" and appears to have rather low physical strength compared to his fellow Noah.

Demon Eye: Wisely's Dark Matter ability resides in his Demon eye which is located on his forehead it appears as 3 additional eyes that replace the place of the stigma the middle eye is bigger compared to the rest.
- Mind Reading: The Demon Eye grants Wisely the ability to read anyone's mind, when he chooses a target he can target their consciousness and subconscious, though it had side effects as it causes Wisely headaches, Wisely also is unable to read Alma Karma mind due to him being in a comatose state for an extremely long time and had to read Yu Kanda mind to bring Alma subconscious to the surface.

- Mind Manipulation: Wisely can also influence other people minds by "crushing" their brains and heads by his mere will. He causes their eyes to bleed before imploding the brain itself, he can also project images and memories into people for observation, an eye similar to the one in his forehead then appear on his target forehead as shown with Kanda's mind this may cause the victims to lose themselves into the memories of others and to relive painful experiences. The effect of this depends on the person psyche. He can also instill terrific dreams of his choice to his targets however he needs direct eye contact for this to happen.
Wisely communicating with Road.
- Mind Investigation: The Demon Eye also grants Wisely the ability to contact his fellow Noah no matter where they are as seen when Road when she was resting, he can reach as far as other dimensions and can even spot his fellow Noah and can tell exactly where they are, as seen in the case of Allen and this was corroborated when he was also able to locate the Earl in London.
- Wisely Headaches: The Demon Eye is not as perfect as it seems as it have its drawbacks, as seen when it gives Wisely extreme headaches if someone has strong willpower like Allen he can break free of Wisely control which causes Wisely third eye to break be it by striking his forehead or the one of someone he controls with Innocence it will bring back his "chronic disease" as Road puts it.
