The Witches are overarching antagonists in the Cookie Run franchise.
They are a group of individuals that create cookies to eat and by that logic, are seen as gods to the Cookies.
Appearance[]
In Ovenbreak, the Witches appear as an elderly woman with red skin with fangs, wearing a pink shirt, a white apron, a green skirt, a black cape, and a witch hat.
However, in later games, the Witch only shows an appearance as a silhouette, having a wide mouth and long nose with a witch hat.
Biography[]
Ovenbreak (2009)[]
TBA
Cookie Run: OvenBreak[]
The Witches; silhouette can be seen in GingerBrave's story, where GingerBrave and his friends were hiding from her.
In the First Memory, Sugar Glass Cookie confirms that the Wizards may be related to the Witches, as they created Cookies like her, but do not intend to eat their own creations, nor were they made to be eaten to begin with.
Cookie Run: Kingdom[]
The Witches were briefly mentioned that they were creating the Cookies, and that the Cookies successfully escaped The Witches in the introduction of the game.
They appear again in the Tower of Sweet Chaos story in Pastry Cookie's Flashback. There, they gathered in the Night of The Witches and ate the cookies until White Lily Cookie fell into the Ultimate Dough, where they decide to bake her and turn her into Dark Enchantress Cookie.
A specific Witch only referred as "Them" by Black Forest Cookie is the object of her romantic interest.
Cookie Run: Witch's Castle[]
The Shadow Witch enters in the Witch's Castle and starts creating a batch of Cookies. She witnesses GingerBrave escaping from the oven and grabs him. However, GingerBrave frees himself as he uses his candy cane to fight back only to be thrown out by the window. When GingerBrave ends up in the Witch's Kitchen, he sees the Shadow Witch in his dream until he is woken up by Witchberry Cookie. As GingerBrave and his friends are about to escape from the window, the Shadow Witch returns and captures GingerDozer planning to eat him.
However, in recent updates it was revealed that not all Witches used Life Powder (the magic powder that gives life to desserts) to create conscious cookies and then eat them, since at first and guided by The Witch of Light, they created the cookies as friends and symbols of purity, however as seen in An Ancient Tale of the Witch of Light a witch out of envy corrupted the ritual by killing the coven, their spirits being turned into the First Cookies by the Witch of Life and herself in the process, later the process of baking living cookies became part of the Witches, although others, like Wizards, saw their acts of mixing anything as uncivilized chaos, but there are still good witches, as we see in the description of Strawberry Shortcake Cookie who was a witch who fulfilled a Cake Hound's wish to become a Cookie
