The Witches are minor characters in DreamWorks' 8th full-length animated feature film Shrek 2, and supporting antagonists in DreamWorks' 14th full-length animated feature film Shrek the Third.

History

Shrek 2

Witches appear in Shrek 2 as regulars of the Poison Apple, upset that they did not get happy endings. They all gasped and looked at Harold when he whispered the word "ogre" to Doris.

Shrek the Third

The same witches appear again in Shrek the Third, in which they play a more important role. They are among the villains that help Prince Charming in his plot to take over Far Far Away. At the end of the movie, they redeem themselves upon hearing Artie's speech, like the rest of the villains.

Trivia

It is possible that one of these witches is the Unidentified Witch who cursed Fiona, possibly as revenge for not getting a happily ever after
