The Wither King is the anti-heroic tritagonist of the AvM Shorts Season 1 finale "Cave Spider Roller Coaster". He later returns as one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Cave Spider Queen) of the Actual Shorts episode "You Shall Not Pass".

The Wither King is like any other Wither from Minecraft except that he gains a yellow crown that has the same design as the Cave Spider Queen.
Biography[]
AVM Shorts - "Cave Spider Roller Coaster"[]
The Stick Gang get corner by the Cave Spider Queen. They all attempt to fight it but all but The Second Coming are trapped in webs made by her. She attempts to lunge at The Second Coming however, a Wither comes out of the portal located behind The Cave Spider Queen, looking for a random fight right as it happens. It notices the Cave Spider Queen and starts to fight it. It shoots Wither skulls at her as she attempts to defend herself. The Second Coming see's this as a opportunity to drag his friends through the portal and all of them run back home to their portal and destroy it. It's unknown who created the Wither and why. Nobody wins the fight as later both of them are shown to still be alive.
In between the events of that and "You Shall Not Pass", The Wither and The Cave Spider Queen decide to join forces. During this timeframe, The Wither is crowned as the Wither King. The Cave Spider Queen also healed up most of her colony and made more Cave Spiders as majority of them died due to the events of the previous episode. The Wither at some point made or brought over Wither Skeletons from the Nether and joined them into the colony. At some point the Stick Gang re-entered the cave system and ran into the colony once more as they chased them all down.
Actual Shorts - "You Shall Not Pass"[]
The Cave Spider Queen and Wither King chase the Stick Gang throughout a cave, leading their colony, until they confront Yellow - who has since gained a staff with a command block equipped onto it - on a bridge. After blocking the monarchy's attacks, Yellow parodies the famous "You Shall Not Pass!" scene from The Lord of the Rings by summoning a command that makes the whole bridge collapse: The Spider Queen falls down into the abyss below, taking the Wither King down with her (who had one of her webs attached to one of his faces). As the duo falls down, the Spider Queen sends out one last web in an attempt to take Yellow down with her, sending him plummeting into the abyss, but he manages to rescue himself by using the staff to fly upwards.
Just like before, the Cave Spider Queen and Wither King's fates remain inconclusive and it's unknown if they survived the fall. However due to the Wither King's ability to fly, and the fact the queen was stuck to him and can use her web as a grappling hook, there is a possibility they both survived due to those abilities to fly and or grapple hook.
Trivia[]
- The Wither appearing to fight the queen was supposed to be a Jurassic Park reference, where the Tyrannosaurux rex saved the protagonists from a pack of Velociraptors. Additionally, there is no known reason behind his existence or who made him, and his only known motive is that he wanted a good fight.
