Dr. Bentley Wittman, better known as The Wizard, is the main antagonist of the Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes episode "Frightful."
The self-proclaimed smartest man in the world, he is an evil scientist who created Anti-Gravity Discs. Originally concerned with mere thefts, he sought to steal the unstable molecules from Reed Richards. Thus, he created the Wizard's Four in an attempt to replace the Fantastic Four as New York's signature superheroes.
He was voiced by Jonathan Holmes.
Personality[]
The Wizard is a highly egotistical villain. He sees himself as the "smartest man in the world" and thus views others as beneath him, even his teammates. As expected, his arrogance is his downfall, as he was only able to be defeated when Mr. Fantastic tricked him into monologuing about his plans.
While his claims about his intelligence are unlikely to be true, he is still a technological genius capable of creating the Anti-Gravity Discs. He is also highly manipulative, as he fooled the city and manipulated the Fantastic Four into making him look like a hero.
Wizard does not seem to hold any redeeming qualities and is willing to endanger innocent lives to achieve his plans without feeling an ounce of shame. Unlike some other villains, Wizard has no delusions about his morality and even acknowledges that he is a villain to his team.
Appearance[]
The Wizard is a white man with a long, dark brown goatee. For attire, he wears a lavender bodysuit with dark purple armor on his chest, legs, and forearms. He has a large white circle, an Anti-Gravity Disc, on his chest with four smaller discs surrounding it; he also has ridged shoulder pads. Additionally, Wizard wears an elongated helmet, which is dark purple with a lavender "v" shape. It has one white disc on the forehead and two on the ears.
