Biography[]
In the 1980s, Wizard was a student in a gang-infested high school, becoming a leader in one of the gangs, commonly fighting other gang members and being extremely disruptive in class, much to the ire of the teachers, who were unable to do much against him. One day, Wizard, his girlfriend, and some of his fellow gang members, including his best friend Trojan, arrived at school, Trojan recounting a funny story. Then, Wizard noticed members of a rival gang nearby, and deciding that they've "had it too good for too long," took off his belt and attacked a member of the rival gang with its metal buckle, ignoring the protests of his girlfriend. A crowd soon gathered around while Wizard beat the other teenager, but then, a teacher, Miss Peters, ran in and shoved Wizard off, before suddenly freezing when seeing a nearby gargoyle statue. Wizard almost turned to attack Miss Peters, but a security guard came in and drew his baton on Wizard, making Wizard stand down and leave.
The next day, Wizard arrived to Miss Peters' English class late, alongside Trojan, claiming that his mother's car broke down on the way to school. Miss Peters had them sit down and went back to the lecture, only for Trojan to rudely interrupt her while Wizard loudly snored in a mocking fashion. When called by name, Wizard told Miss Peters to use his nickname, and declared that he didn't need the education anyways. Miss Peters tried to explain the benefits of English, but Trojan kept interrupting, and made a sexual remark to Miss Peters. However, something then came over Miss Peters, allowing her to effortlessly restrain Trojan against a wall and lift him up with one arm, threatening to crush him like a bug. Wizard then stood and yelled at Miss Peters to let Trojan go, and Miss Peters did, before asking Wizard what was on his tiny little mind. Wizard, frightened, had to be pulled out of the room by his girlfriend when the bell rang.
The next day, Wizard and Trojan returned to class, where Miss Peters was trying to read a passage from a book to them, only for Wizard to turn on a boombox he brought with him, ignoring Miss Peters when she said to turn it off. As such, she walked over and turned it off herself, but Wizard turned it back on, getting the class excited. However, Miss Peters then picked up the boombox and ripped it apart with her bare hands. Wizard then tried to attack Miss Peters, but she easily subdued him and threw him out of the class, ordering him to stay out and frightening the students into compliance. Later, after school hours, Wizard, his girlfriend, Trojan, and another gang member were sitting in the outdoor cafeteria seats, where Trojan and the other gang member, who was also forced into compliance by Miss Peters when he was caught hitting a locker, were talking about how they wanted to kill Miss Peters. However, Wizard then called them out on being too scared to actually try it, and took a baseball bat, ignoring his girlfriend calling for him as he stormed off. Wizard then broke into the school and stalked Miss Peters through the empty hallways, who could sense him due to the gargoyle notifying her. As it turns out, the statue had possessed Miss Peters with its essence, making her much stronger and more aggressive. Wizard noticed a sign of this when he followed Miss Peters into a storage room, and saw that the door's handle had been ripped out.
Entering the storage room, Wizard searched for the teacher, bat still in hand, and heard something move deeper within. However, he couldn't see Miss Peters anywhere, and started hitting nearby shelves with the bat while yelling for Peters to show herself. Then, thinking he heard her behind a shelf, Wizard went to that shelf and removed a box in the way to look behind it, only to see nothing at all. Then, Miss Peters grabbed him by the shoulder, revealing that she had transformed into a monstrous gargoyle-like creature, snarling at him. Frightened, Wizard backed away, but Peters broke his bat in half with a swipe of her claws, then easily deflected a fire extinguisher he tried to throw at her, before grabbing Wizard and tossing him away. Wizard then tried to flee, but Peters jumped from shelf to shelf, blocking his every move before jumping on him and pinning him to the ground. However, just before she could kill Wizard, she saw herself in a nearby mirror, and recoiled, rejecting the gargoyle's hold on her and expelling its essence from her body, destroying the statue and knocking herself out. Wizard, shocked by the sudden turn of events, abandoned his homicidal goals, and soon woke Miss Peters up, also asking why she didn't kill him. Miss Peters responded that she couldn't let that happen, and Wizard, now remorseful for his past actions, thanked her, helping her up.
