Wizpig is the main antagonist of the Angry Birds RPG spin-off game, Angry Birds Epic. He is King Pig's right hand man and official sorcerer, he is also Chef Pig's predecessor.
Biography[]
Introduction[]
Wizpig is first introduced after he and Prince Porky are ordered by King Pig to steal the eggs for him. Wizpig coldly smiles as he hears his Leader's order, and successfully steals all five eggs. To keep the safe from the birds before they are ready to be eaten, Wizpig locks them up in separate castle, sending Prince Porky to guard the first one.
Hunt for the Eggs[]
Once the Birds get to Prince Porky at the top of the first castle, Wizpig appears to increase the attack power and size of Prince Porky in order to help him defeat the birds. However, even with Wizpig's magic, Prince Porky is defeated and the birds reclaim the first egg. Wizpig orders Prince Porky to go to the second castle to guard the next egg.
After the Angry Birds defeat Prince Porky once again and secure the second egg, Wizpig sees that Prince Porky is not enough, and decides to guard the third egg himself, with undead minions to assist him. Wizpig will also block entrance of the castle until the Angry Birds find an alternative way in. In his first battle with the Angry Birds, Wizpig is defeated, and the birds get the third egg.
After the destruction of the third castle, he goes to the fourth castle, and this time, both he and Prince Porky fight against the birds. Once again, however, they are defeated, and the fourth egg is reclaimed by the birds.
Their defeat means that only one egg remains in the ownership of the pigs, and so they quickly rush it to the king, also informing him of their four losses. After the birds reaches King Pig's castle, a fight begins between the three selected Angry Birds against the many forces of King Pig's army, the final level of the castle being against the pig trio; Wizpig, Prince Porky, and the King Pig himself.
Betrayal[]
Despite their battle, the pigs are once again defeated, and the birds have reclaimed all the eggs. However, this is when Wizpig reveals his true colours as a traitor. He uses magic to steal one of the eggs and King Pig's crown along with into piggy island into a wasteland. Deciding that he wants to treat himself instead of working for the weak King Pig, Wizpig flies up to his own castle at the top of Hog Head Mountain. There, he summons five of his strongest wizard minions, and has them build a protective barrier around his castle, so he can eat the egg in peace.
Fate[]
The Birds defeat the wizards and confront Wizpig. Though summoning undead minions to his aid, he is defeated by the birds. However, in a last ditch effort of powerful magic, he turns himself into the infinitely more powerful Demonic Wizpig, a version of himself that is stronger, more durable, with more deadly spells. His demonic skin is so powerful that no bird (except Mighty Eagle) is able to damage him once his health gets low enough. However, Prince Porky, who is not a bird, but rather a pig, is able to damage Wizpig, dealing the final blow to Wizpig, shattering his demonic form, returning him to a normal pig. The alliance between Prince Porky and the Birds starts a new era of peace between the two species, and the ending of the game implies the start of a permanent alliance.
As for WizPig, however, he is last seen laying injured on the ground, with a black eye and bandages. As he is never seen again, it is implied that he was most likely arrested, or worse, for his crimes against both the Birds and Pigs.
Appearance[]
Wizpig appeared very similar to Chef Pig based on his body shape and mustache. Unlike Chef Pig, however, the chef hat is replaced with a wizards's har, and Wizpig holds a wand. Wizpig doesn't ever walk anywhere, and instead sits on a cloud to hover around.
In demonic form, his skin turns red, and he grows larger. His white cloud is replaced with a storm cloud, and his pig tail twists into a demon tail. He also grows horns. Wizpig also receives upgraded equipment while in demon form, as his hat now has skulls on it instead of pig snouts, and his wand is replaced with a demonic staff.
Personality[]
Wizpig is extremely egotistical, sadistic and has no sense of mercy seen by his actions, he turned a guard into a fly for lack of discipline, regularly shocks failed minions, and planned to murder Prince Porky once he joined the heroes without a second thought. He is also completely willing to kill his own allies to siphon health back into himself.
It was his greed and hunger for power that blinded him into betraying King Pig for a crown that is possibly worth for high amounts of cash (if were to be for sale) and turning himself into a demon to kill the angry birds and fulfil his sadism. He also, like King Pig, wanted to eat the eggs.
