General Wolfgang Schwarz was an SS-Gruppenfuhrer and the main antagonist of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus's third and final DLC, The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins. He is a notorious German officer who intends on using the Sun Gun to destroy the west and any terrorist activity related to the resistance.
He was voiced by Thure Riefenstein, who also Anton Krieger in Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Gerhardt Dunkel in The New Colossus's second DLC, The Diaries of Agent Silent Death.
History[]
The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins[]
Schwarz was a general in the SS tasked with operating the Sonnengewehr ("Sun Gun") from his own submarine to stamp out any resistance, and wanted to use the "Sun Gun" to destroy "terrorist" activity in the west. While on his submarine, he informed his men that they would be witnessing a great achievement by man with the Sun Gun.
Captain Gerald Wilkins infiltrated his submarine and cornered him, but Schwarz threatened him to back down and surrender or he would kill his daughter Ginny with the Sun Gun. Not wanting to lose his daughter, Wilkins dropped his weapons, only for Schwarz to laugh at him and attempt to fire the Sun Gun anyway out of spite.
However, Ginny had already sabotaged the submarine's communications satellite dishes, preventing Schwarz from being able to operate the Sun Gun. As Wilkins went to kill him, Schwarz pleaded with him for mercy, only for Wilkins to kill him with a hatchet to the neck and leaving to reunite with his daughter.
