Wong Tou is a major character of the 2024 action-adventure RPG video game, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, specifically for the Hawaii arc.
He's the leader of the Ganzhe, a Chinese mafia organization in Honolulu, and owner of the Nirvana Hotel, a secret illegal gambling den reserved to the richest customers.
He was voiced by Takuya Matsumoto in Japanese and by Rich Ting in the English Dub
Involvement[]
Wong Tou makes his first appearance in Chapter 6, introducing himself to Kiryu, Tomizawa and Chitose. After forcing an hidden Kasuga to come at Nirvana hotel by threatening to maim his friends, Wong asks informations about his mother Akane, who is wanted by an anonymus criminal who hired the Ganzhe and the Barracudas to find her. After starting a fight, Kasuga defeats Wong, and asks informations about his employer. Wong starts giving informations about the Overseer, but is interrupted by one of his underlings, who's secretly one of the Overseer's spies, who commits suicide to warn the other spies. Wong suddenly panicks and begs Ichiban to find his son, who's now in danger. Ichiban, however arrives too late, as his son is brought away by the Overseer's spies.
After defeating hordes of enemies, Wong is stabbed on the leg by a grunt, forcing the heroes to stay hidden while Tomizawa finds a car to return to the Daidoji's safehouse. While waiting, Wong reveals that Bryce Fairchild, the Sage of Palekana, is the Overseer and the secret ruler of the Hawaian underworld. It's also revealed that Bryce force Wong to be his pawn, after he found and killed his mother, and sending her head inside a package to make a point. This, combined to be on the run by Palekana prompts Wong to ally with the heroes, but is interrupted by Yutaka Yamai, who wants to neutralize Wong to annihiliate the Ganzhe, unaware of their true allegiance. After escaping from Yamai, Wong stays hidden at thee Daidoji's safehouse, until he is killed by the Barracudas, after being tipped of his position by Eiji Mitamura
Personality[]
Wong first appears a sophisticated and intelligent man, being able to find out that Ichiban was spying on him with a silent body check. Unlike Dwight, Wong's office is a very scarn space with only a desk and a computer, showing that he doesn't need to flash out his wealth.
While being a bit arrogant in combat, Wong shows some good qualiites, like caring for his son and his deceased mother, and being sincerely grateful to Ichiban for saving his life
