Found all over North America, these animals are excellent hunters, being able to tread most terrain without making a sound. Their preferred nesting grounds are the homes of large families, where large swarms can adapt easier.
~ Gemini Home Entertainment describing the Woodcrawlers matter-of-factly.
You will hear screams.

They stole their voices.

~ Gemini Home Entertainment

Woodcrawlers are the secondary antagonists of the Gemini Home Entertainment series. They are mutant beings and one of the many offspring of The Iris. They feed by consuming humans and are able to consume objects as large as cars.

They are seemingly tasked with consuming and turning humans into Fake Humans, by infecting them with Deep Root Disease. Which would eventually turn into Nature's Mockery, with the final purpose of giving birth to more Woodcrawlers.

Woodcrawlers appear to be somewhat bigger than a human.

Trivia[]

  • They were called Nature's Mockery in "WORLD's WEIRDEST ANIMALS", however this was either retconned, or meant to be taken as the final stage of Nature's Mockery, as they are what gives birth to a Woodcrawler, but the two are distinct beings.
  • While similar. Woodcrawlers and Gardeners are distinct species. With the Gardeners being directly sent from The Iris, much larger and tasked with tending to the mutating of the Earth from the inside.
  • They were what resulted of people being sacrificed at Moonlight Acres.
    • However, only humans seem to become Woodcrawlers, as the sacrifice of a bear resulted in a much larger and destructive entity called The Wretch.
  • In "HOME INVASION HELP" it advises Woodcrawlers to infect through the human's "Proboscis" (nose, as a proboscis is only found in insects, worms and gastropod molluscs).
    • It is unknown if that's the only way they can infect people, or simply the fastest. As "DEEP ROOT DISEASE" shows infection from skin contact is slow, albeit equally unstoppable.
