The Worms are the main antagonists of SpongeBob SquarePants
For one of them, Prickles, his sounds were provided by Tom Kenny .
Biography [ ] Prickles moves into SpongeBob's body during the night and is able to gain acceptance from SpongeBob with a sob story, which means that he can stay. During the night, Prickles invites other worms and they start throwing a party.
The Worms end up causing a lot of trouble for SpongeBob, as their actions cause Gary to kick him out of the house, and they also cause Mr. Krabs to fire him, and they also beat up Plankton for trying to get rid of them.
Eventually, all of the words are driven away from SpongeBob's body because of his annoying laughter, and they enter Squidward's house and start living their, much to Squidward's dismay.
Prickles also stars in a prequel short within the episode titled "Clam Up", which begins in his house. A clam irritates him and he ships it away. However, the clam attacks the mailman and later tries to kill Prickles. Prickles then seeks refuge in SpongeBob's house in order to protect himself.
