The Wraths are one of the Seven Deadly Sins themed mini-bosses and minor antagonists in The Binding of Isaac video game series.
Biography[]
As their name suggests, the Wrath group of mini-bosses serve to represent the cardinal sin of wrath, one of the Seven Deadly Sins described within Christianity.
Wrath[]
Wraths appear in "Mini-Boss Rooms", which are rooms designated for certain mini-bosses. Once Wrath spawns in the room, they will begin wandering around while delivering bombs. They deal a full heart of damage upon bomb and contact.
Super Wrath[]
Super Wraths are the more powerful counterpart of regular Wrath, and share much of the abilities that regular Wrath do. Once a round begins, they will begin wandering around while delivering mega troll bombs, which chase Isaac until they explode. They deal a full heart of damage like their regular counterparts.
Eternal Wrath[]
Eternal Wraths are white-colored versions of regular Wraths, which only appear in the Hard Mode of the original installment of the game. They act similarly to their normal variants, but can shoot up to 4 bombs every time.
Eternal Super Wrath[]
Eternal Super Wraths are white-colored versions of Super Wraths, which only appear in the Hard Mode of the original installment of the game. They have a different set of attacks, as they always pursue Isaac while leaving bombs on their behind. When they take damage, they shoot 3 blood shots.
Trivia[]
- In both appearance and abilities, the Wraths were inspired by Bomberman/White Bomber, the main protagonist of the Bomberman video game franchise.
