That tasteless cat, Maxum Man, couldn't waste me in his dreams! He ruined my designs once but now it's time for me to show the world my style by taking out Maxum Man!
~ The Wreck-Orator

The Wreck-Orator is a recurring villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a stereotypical fashionista, who swears vengeance on Maxum Man for rejecting his design idea for The Maxum Lair. He first appeared in "Squawk!".

Biography[]

In "Squawk", The Wreck-Orator made his debut in the video for Sidekick Lesson #523, "Classy Maxum". Maxum Man taught people how to decorate their secret superhero lairs to look stylish and fancy. In his case, he hired a top-notch decorator to make The Maxum Lair into an illustrious suite. However, Maxum Man didn't like the design The Wreck-Orator chose, so he used his superpowers to completely destroy all of his work and remake the Maxum Mansion in his own image. The Wreck-Orator was so mad at Maxum Man for this, that he vowed revenge upon him, saying that someday, they two would clash again.

In present day, Eric and Trevor made AI generated Squawk posts about Maxum Man beating people up to make him look more present. They made a post about Maxum Man beating up the Wreck-Orator and when the actual Wreck-Orator saw this, he was livid. The Wreck-Orator decided now was the time for him to clash again with Maxum Man and show him who's boss.

The Wreck-Orator came down to the Maxum Mansion and fired his scarf lasers at the house, ordering Maxum Man to come out and face him. Eric flew out in the Maxum Jet and tried to defuse the situation, only to get himself shot at too. Eric had no choice but to start firing back. However, Wreck-Orator's suit (and hair) was completely invincible to lasers, so this was no good. Having had enough of this silly fight, The Wreck-Orator once again demanded the presence of Maxum Man, saying that it was Maxum Man who ruined his potential career of being in Super Designers Biweekly Magazine and he needed his revenge. Eric noted that The Wreck-Orator really hated Maxum Man and the Wreck-Orator added that the only person he hates more than Maxum Man is Vana Glama. When Eric heard that the Wreck-Orator followed Vana on Squawk, he got an idea on how to stop him.

Eric sent Vana a Squawk message as Maxum Man, begging her to come back to Squawk and show off her home decor, which Vana was very excited to do. The Wreck-Orator was quick to drop the warfare and check his phone, when Vana uploaded a tour of her house and was completely appalled and disgusted to see how tacky her house was. The Wreck-Orator decided that stopping Vana from decorating her house in such a nasty way was way more important than stopping Maxum Man, so he left the battle to go down and face her.

The Wreck-Orator broke into Vana's house and started destroying everything she owned, calling it al affront to all things stylish. Vana fought back by shooting him with her laser cannon but he deflected all of it. The Wreck-Orator dissed Vana's outfit too, telling her that her burnt umber hair ribbon did not go with her hair color and that she should go with magenta instead. Vana stopped the fighting and came to the realization that the Wreck-Orator had a point, as she also didn't like burnt umber. She thought that he was right about the whole magenta thing and could also use a tangerine streak, which the Wreck-Orator found himself agreeing with too. Before long, the two of them became really good friends and had fun, discussing their ideas about fashion and home decor over a spot of tea.
