Xavier-Yves Roth, also known simply as XY, is a minor antagonist in the French-superhero animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is an egotistical and famous pop star in Paris, Jagged Stone's rival, and the son of Bob Roth.
He is voiced by Benjamin Diskin, who also voices Nooroo in the same series, as well as Eddie Brock/Venom in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Morbius in Ultimate Spider-Man, Harm and Ma'alefa'ak in Young Justice, The Leader in Marvel Future Avengers, Diaz Arnesto in The Prodigies, Rhino in Marvel Heroes, Bruce in Codename Kids Next Door, Szayel Aporro Granz in Bleach, Death Gun in Sword Art Online II, Kaneo Takarada in Kill la Kill, Boris Badenov in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle (2018), Skaar in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man, Orion in Bomberman 64, and Urashiki Ōtsutsuki in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Personality[]
XY is extremely arrogant and vain, and has a lack of good educations making him extremely rude. He looks down on anyone he believes is not as popular as he is, causing him to believe he is the best and therefore sees everyone as losers. He insults all his rivals throughout the music industry and doesn't take warnings seriously, even when they come from the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. However, when he is in mortal danger, he proves to be a coward, panicking and losing his overconfidence. XY also proves to be lazy, as he doesn't even try to do anything original or related to his work, believing it to be easier to let others do the work for him and then take all the credit for it.

XY is a tall young man with long pointed blond hair styled upwards, with fair skin and blue eyes.
He wears a purple camouflage headband that is tied in the back of his head. His jacket is purple, having white with a thin black line in the middle cuffs, bottom, and collar, and he wears it over a white t-shirt with a low collar. He wears a light purple belt with a golden buckle, pale blue jeans, and gray tennis shoes. He also wears a gold chain necklace with a large gold "XY" symbol hanging from it.
