~ Ares, God of War on Xena. |
Xena was a conqueror of nations. Unlike the Prime Xenaverse version of her, she wasn't reformed. Like her Prime Xenaverse version of her.
She was portrayed by Lucy Lawless.
History
This Xena existed after Callisto was sent back in time to kill Hercules' mother, Alcmene while she carried Hercules, thus preventing his birth. Callisto did this under the command of Hope, the daughter of Dahak in exchange to prevent her parent's murder at the hands of Xena's army. Because Callisto succeeded, Xena wasn't reformed.
She conquered nation after nation throughout the known world (Europe and Asia by modern terms) which included The Roman Empire, Gaul, and the far east. She fully realized the potential that the Greek War God, Ares, saw in her. He was extremely proud of her and even the mere mention of her name pleased him to no end.
This Xena was so corrupted, she had Gabrielle killed for standing up to her and her tyrannical rule and broke her legs, in the same manner, Julius Ceaser did to Xena years before. However, this Xena ceased to exist once Iolaus time traveled back and prevented Callisto from killing Alcmene, rendering this timeline with this Xena in it to not exist.
Iolaus and Hercules (due to Hercules being trapped in between worlds, observing everything Iolaus had done) were the only two to have knowledge of this Xena's existence.
Trivia
- This version of Xena's character was the final character portrayed by Lucy Lawless in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys TV series.
