Sharla: Juju and the others! Tell me where they are! Xord: Eeeyah hah hah! You want the brat? Well, he's right here! (...) He's still alive, but don't think he will be for long! As for the others, well... I just couldn't help myself. I ate them all up! Welcome to our banquet hall! Tonight, the main course will be... you! And if I've still got room, the brat will make a tasty dessert! Hehehe...

~ Xord
Xord is a minor antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles.
He was voiced by Tesshō Genda in Japanese and by Jonathan Keeble in English.
Xord's bulky, round body is of a bronze-ish color, with silver armor and limbs. His gray face is quite humanoid as well, with a lower black jaw and red eyes. He mainly uses a large hammer to attack.
Personality
Xord is a gluttonous, sadistic character who only desires to eat Homs. He is also quite arrogant, boasting on how he is far more powerful compared to our heroes.
Biography
Before the battle, Shulk has a premonition about Juju being captured by Xord, who he mistakes for Metal Face. After defeating the Mechon M71, Xord attacks, bests the heroes through them being unable to do much damage to him, and kidnaps Juju, crying out that he'll be in Colony 6 if the heroes desire to rescue the boy. He reappears at the bottom of Ether Mine, boasting of himself eating the Defense Force, revealing his name and attacking the heroes through his powerful blows, his hammer, and summoning other Mechon. After taking some damage, Xord seems to be mostly unfazed by the heroes' attacks, but Otharon pushes Xord into a river of ether and seemingly drowns, with the heroes barely able to rescue Otharon. However, he reappears on the Freight Elevator, damaged but alive. After this battle, Xord gets his limbs shot off by Sharla, and remarks on his surprise on how powerful the Monado can truly be. However, before he is questioned further, he ignores said demand for answers, notes on how his eyes were opened by his ascension into a member of the Mechon, and kills himself by using his engines to thrust himself down the cavern shaft, exploding soon after.
Xord's model is later reproduced in mass as basic minion, with these replicas first appearing during Metal Face's confrontation with the heroes shortly after the original's demise.
