Xu Huang is a minor antagonist in the 14th-century Chinese classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by the late Luo Guanzhong, and its multiple adaptations. He is one of the generals of Cao Cao and one of the enemies of Guan Yu.
History[]
Saving Emperor Xian from Dong Zhuo[]
Xu Huang begins his military career as a courier in Hedong. Later on, he followed General Yang Feng against the Yellow Turbans. Dong Zhuo, a wicked minister who tries to kidnaps the young emperor Xian, making him as his puppet guardian. He helped him and General Dong Cheng to prevents Dong Zhuo and escort Emperor Xian from Chang'an to Luoyang and was promoted to cavalry commander for his services. When Emperor Xian transferred to Xuchang by Cao Cao, Yang Feng and Han Xuan opposed him. Cao Cao's duel between his bodyguard Xu Chu and Xu Huang made no decision, Cao Cao picked Xu Huang's best friend, Man Chong to win over Xu Huang. After much deliberation, Xu Huang gave in and left Yang Feng.
Conflict of Jiangling[]
Toward to clashed Jiangling by Liu Bei and Sun Quan after showdown of Chibi, Xu Huang does had joined the battle until Wei at marched with that inauspicious fights on Wu commander, Zhou Yu.

Defense of Tong Gate[]
As Cao Cao, Xu Huang was elevated to the rank of General which making friends with Zhang Liao and Guan Yu.
At the Battle of Tong Gate, he defending it with helping of against Ma Chao with Cao Hong, before whom he was able to saved Cao Hong. Xu Huang continued to defended this capital by on really, Cao Cao and his forces were watching Xu Chu dealing with Ma Chao barely through as while for Wang Yi, a noble lady of Wei and Zhao Ang's beloved wife who is served under Cao Cao, due to her attempted to getting revenges on Ma Chao for why he did done was into murdered her family which their having failing by that argument. He might noticed that one of Ma Chao's sidekicks, Pang De could leaving Ma Teng, the noble Han leader who is died in this battle before Cao Cao's invasion of Hanzhong that.
Pang De was actually so which then he would time to following serving another warlord, Zhang Lu with Ma Chao and Ma Dai. After the Battle of Tong Gate, Xu Huang chased the deserted Guan Yu and his son Guan Ping.
Battle of Fan Castle[]
Despite Guan Yu's appeal to his once-friendship, Xu Huang did not give up this missions, for which he was highly honored by his Lord Cao Cao. Later events in that happening, Xu Huang would worked with Yu Jin, Man Chong, and Cao Ren to defense of Fan Castle and sharp against Guan Yu and Guan Ping with has one more after Cao Cao send his armies with help of reinforcements which forming on them.
Eventually on, Xu Huang then truly spotted that Pang De was killed off into hands by Guan Yu after being caught by Shu in the battle. He comes to protecting Pang De with Wei is too late that after formally looks out a heavy rains in leads the Han River into flood attack which give desires by their setback but always dislikes Guan Yu anyone.
By ended of the battle of Fan Castle, Guan Yu and Guan Ping were later executing by Wu. Under Cao Cao's son, Cao Pi, Xu Huang was named "Right General" and Lord of Luxiang. After defeating Liu Bei, he also became general of Yangping. Xu Huang participated in Sima Yi's campaign against the Shu Han and was mortally wounded by General Meng Da. He died in later on his way to the capital.
Personality[]
Xu Huang is Cao Cao's loyal minion who adamantly leaves from true to his life as a warrior. He is quite protective towards Man Chong as well as his being a sadistic of course this, does not care for politics or bribery, which also believing that the one's strength is only carve the newly future. He is a man who would lives by his blade, while he will even continue his lifestyle during times of peace.
