This villain was proposed but was rejected by the community for not being heinous enough or lacks what is necessary to be a Pure Evil villain. Therefore, this villain shall be added to our "Never Again List", where proposed villains rejected by the community shall be placed to prevent future proposals of the same evil-doer. They can be proposed again (with the permission of an administrator) if new elements appear in their series that can change their status as non-PE villains.

Y'golonac is the main antagonist of the song of the same name by the brutal death metal band Putryphemus, first appearing in the album Abominations from Beyond.

Biography[]

Y'golonac is the god of depravity, a Great Old One who was imprisoned behind a brick wall in an unknown region. In the song, Y'golonac is served by "blind creatures of darkness" and longs to be released from his imprisonment. Much like the Outer God Nyarlathotep, Y'golonac has a full understanding of human morality as he has the ability to understand any perversion and carnality that any sapient being can think of. His depravity is even stated to be higher than that of Nyarlathotep.

While Nyarlathotep is a vile god, Y'golonac was arguably more so as he also has the tendency of bifurcating his followers to satiate his perverse hunger. In the song, unnamed monks summon Y'golonac to the earthly realm and he takes possession of their bodies.

In his self-entitled song, Y'golonac takes possession of the monks in preparation for the arrival of Shub-Niggurath.
