Yamagami Beast (ヤマガミビースト Yamagami Bīsuto, lit. Mountain Spirit Beast) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Sharivan who appears in episode 6. It is a Makai Beast who is responsible for harming the forest and the animals as well in order to lure Sharivan into Madou's trap to kill him.
It is voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
Biography[]
After discovering that Den Iga/Sharivan is a former forest ranger, the Space Crime Syndicate Madou decide to formulate a plan to kill him once and for all by taking an advantage of his love of forest and animals, so they decide to create the Yamagami Beast and send it to attack the forest and the animals who lived here in order to lure Den into their trap.
While Den is fighting against the Madou, the Yamagami Beast suddenly appears and attacked him, even when Den transformed into Sharivan. After retreating from fighting Sharivan, it later continued to attack the forest and harming the animals, which later succeeds in luring Den into their trap which prevented him from transforming into Sharivan and allowed the Makai Beast to almost beat him up to death until Gavan arrived and destroyed the device that prevents Den from transforming, which allowed him to fight back as Sharivan.
After they're dragged into Genmu World, the Yamagami Beast initially has gained the upperhand on Sharivan. After destroying the fighters, both Sharivan and the Makai Beast continued to fight as the latter attempt to sneak attack on the former, but Sharivan managed to caught it on the act and finished it off with Sharivan Crash.
