Yamaraashisu is a porcupine-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 26 of The Kagestar.

He is voiced by the late Keisuke Yamashita, who previously voiced Zariganian in the same series and also voiced Major Skull and Baron Rock in Kamen Rider Stronger, Onimengo in Kamen Rider Super-1 and Onigan in Kyodai Ken Byclosser.

Biography

Yamaraashisu was sent by Doctor Satan to threaten a scientist named Dr. Asada into making them an SP, a small pistol-like device capable of sparking a massive explosion. When Asada completed the blueprints for the device, Yamaraashisu and a squad of Satan Empire Combatants arrived at his residence and threatened the safety of his young son Koichi to get him to hand it over. However, Kageo and Suzuko then appeared and attempted to rescue Dr. Asada, his assistant Hirai and his son Koichi. As Yamaraashisu and his combatants Kageo became the Kagestar to fight them off, saving Koichi and causing Yamaraashisu to retreat. However, at the same time, other Satan Empire forces were able to abduct Asada and Hirai.

At a Satan Empire base, Yamaraashisu had Hirai strapped to a machine to use her as a hostage to force Asada to hand over the SP blueprints. However, Asada pulled out a physical SP and used it to threaten Yamaarashisu and his men into letting him and Hirai go. As the two were exiting the room, Yamaraashisu fired one of his quills at them, striking Hirai and fatally wounding her. Before he could kill Asada and take the SP from him however, Asada fired the SP at them at took out the two combatants standing behind Yamaraashisu before fleeing the scene.

As Asada met up with Kageo and Suzuko, Yamaraashisu disguised himself as Hirai to get close to Koichi and abduct him. After kidnapping Koichi and bringing him to the Satan Empire, Yamaraashisu held him hostage to force Asada to hand over the SP. With the SP in hand, Yamaraashisu attempted to use it to obliterate Kageo, but after a few shots the SP ran out of ammo. Kageo and Suzuko then transformed into Kagestar and Bellestar to battle Yamaraashisu, who summoned a squad of Satan Empire Combatants to back himself up. Yamaraashisu attempted to crush Kagestar by turning into a ball and rolling over him, but Kagestar dodged his attacks. After fighting off the Satan Combatants, Bellestar joined Kagestar in fighting Yamaraashisu. The two grabbed Yamaraashisu and performed their "double kick" on him before flinging him off the cliff. Upon hitting the ground, Yamaraashisu shouted "Heil Satan!" before exploding.
